I’m really tired.... I’m tired of trusting another person for their word. I can’t count how many sh:/$@ packages I’ve received. Some are absolutely full of awesomeness. But I’m tired of spending good money on something that was portrayed to be something “better”. Or in better shape. Whatever. My breaking point was shredder that had corrosion batteries in it. And please of course doesn’t work.

colleenvancity Good for you for posting this. I have issues to vent both as a seller and a buyer. When purchasing an item I now pay attention to see if the seller has a decent amount of "love notes" and good ratings. I'm tempted to take a cue from you and do a similar post.

andreagross700 Be sure to check your purchases within three days of receiving them and don’t accept until you are satisfied. If you’re not satisfied and the product was not as stated make a claim with Poshmark within the three day window. Very important. After the three day window Poshmark automatically pays the seller. You need to provide photo evidence. But Poshmark is fair about it. That’s why it’s a good site. Happy poshing!

I wrote a reply but moved it to my memos cuz in 3 angry min I wrote a 5000 word essay on the merits/sore points of this psudo-society we call The Kingdom of Poshmark. LOL. I'm debating if I should post it in my own closet... Anyhoo, I'm here to say I've been there! You're welcome to vent to me whenever the urge strikes. We all need to vent! kstarfaerie As I mentioned before I don't typically do orders under $20, this is because I put so much work into every purchase. I personalize the packaging, and choose a gift that either matches the purchase or previous purchases from love notes. I never do same day shipping, to ensure everything is perfect before its sent, otherwise I message and cancel (only had to do that once). Sorry you have also had trouble. 🧡

kstarfaerie @samantha_hind I just bought two pairs of "handmade with love" my little pony earrings from someone who made them look 3D in the photos, they arrived a couple days ago and are blank on the back and just glued plastic. To make matters worse they are glued wrong and hang backwards!! 🙄 Such an annoying waste of money... I swear I say I'm going to quit shopping every other week! And sellers wonder why it's so slow. 🤣😭

cozyrose21 I hear you. It happened a couple of times. I try my best to put pics of everything and be transparent. So I started documenting my packaging. My issue was with a few buyers. Saying they are missing something. One girl claimed items were missing. I posted pics of my packages and changed her story. I weigh my packages and document them. Its my protection. But getting filthy used items when they claim new or used once, really peeves me.

karries_closet I understand what you mean although it sounds like you’ve really had some bad experiences mine were more disappointment. I can assure you I am truly transparent. Any flaws no matter how minor are always in my description & usually picture! I have a 5 star rating and strive to keep that 😘 Good luck poshing🤞 P.S. make sure you don’t accept orders until you thoroughly look them over than you can return, I know it’s a hassle but better than wasting money.

Unfortunately, everyone's "idea" of EUC or gently used is different. It gives sellers who take pride in what they sell a bad name here. As others have stated, always inspect your purchase before accepting it - you shouldn't be forced to pay for an item what isn't up to your standards or what a seller states the condition is, and it isn't. Good on you for writing this!

classy_posh Thanks for your honesty. I have definitely received things that were not as they were posted, generally however I’ve had really good experiences. As others have said, make sure you open a case if things arrive that you’re not happy with. Also, generally if you buy from ambassadors you have a better chance of good quality items. All the best and hope things get better for you.

So when I don’t see a tracking update within 24 hours I start to freak out. I’m sure everything will be fine. stylishpb @sharonbenson788 search up Poshmark buyer protection policy and an article should come up! it'll give you all the details on what reasons you can return and how the process works. I've only had to return items twice as a buyer and it went smoothly. as a seller, I've never had a return against me that I couldn't dispute (it was for such a bizarre reason) by reading up on what was allowed or not under the policy! hope this helps.

sharonbenson788 @stylishpb thanks for the additional info I bought a gold chain bracelet,&a diamond pendantThe gold bracelet broke the next day.I check at a jewelers.no diamonds.there’s a big stone in the middle & little stones around when I contacted the seller he said I was dumb to think that I would get real gold on the bracelet &real diamonds on the pendant.I contacted Poshmark,they said I have gone over the three days&nothing could be done.so I have the broken chain&the fake diamond pendant.
