plaanejane Thank you for your purchase. I looked at the boot soles to see what your husband saw and they are not polished. The sole has a flat finish. I take photos with a high resolution camera (not cell phone) and I guess it picked up a sheen on the soles. I will get them out tomorrow. Have a wonderful holiday and enjoy your present!
