J Crew Nadia Strapless Silk Dress - Pink, Sz 2

Oh, the absolute chokehold J Crew used to have on the bridesmaid industry!! This dress was a dream to wear and I've obviously been hanging on to it ever since, deluding myself into thinking that because it was so expensive I absolutely will find a way to wear it again. ... it's time to let go. Strapless, flowy silk chiffon with the prettiest bodice detail. This dress is so beautifully constructed with boning and a built in corset (there's a second interior zipper and everything) as well as a silicon gripper strip. Can confirm this dress didn't move AT ALL when I wore it for my bff's wedding. The waistline hits higher and the skirt is light and flowy so it's incredibly flattering on, especially on a wider-hipped body type. I think this colour was called Misty Rose? But in any case, it's a gorgeous blush pink. The dress is in almost-perfect condition (dry-cleaned after I wore it), except for one very small hole at the back near the bodice (see photos), which is reflected in the price. Worn once, which always makes me laugh when people write it in the description for their wedding dress for sale. Of COURSE it was only worn once! I digress. 100% silk with a polyester lining.
