Hi there.
I added a picture of the measurement across the upper shoulders. It’s approximately 16.5 inches
There’s also a photo trying to show how the shoulder pad is attached. It’s sewn into a a piece of seam tape. They could be removed with a seam ripper or small sharp scissors without hurting the jackets fabric.
