jmarinalynn @rfl38 you're so right, it's a nasty recovery - if I really ever do recover. I most likely will need another surgery one day to relieve the constant pain that my two lumbar vertebrae are causing bc they're smashed together from first surgery... ayyyy... long story. rfl38 @jmarinalynn Exactly if you really do recover! I understand only what your dealing with. My Brother is currently debating surgery & if he should or just go thru the pain for as long as he can. His entire back & spine is blown basically to put it. 😕 He suffers severely. But get some rest and post away tomorrow!

jmarinalynn @sterlinglife3 absolutely! She is my 2nd girl 😇, I had my first, Indira, when I was only 19 so unfortunately there's a big age gap between them. But they still love each other deeply and you can just see the sisterly bond btw them. I love it bc I never had a sister and ALWAYS wanted one! Wow, though, 4 GIRLS??? I can't even IMAGINE (so my oldest is 15 now and it is HARD to say the least), God bless!

sterlinglife3 @jmarinalynn I had my oldest a month after I turned 20. She’s now 13 and our youngest is 4 months. I have 5 girls, not 4... lol. Yes, hard and amazing, and amazingly hard! We live in Michigan now because of the military but I was born and raised in Florida and my family is there and in North Carolina so I don’t even have any help with them.

sterlinglife3 @jmarinalynn I don’t trust anyone outside of my family, basically just my mom to watch them so I’m super SOL here. My husband is doing his Surgery Residency so he’s no help either. Most days I feel overwhelmed but then I think what will I do when they are grown and out of the house. They are such a blessing.

jmarinalynn @sterlinglife3 Juliet, my youngest, is my miracle baby. After my first, I was diagnosed with an "Incompetent Cervix," terrible name, but medically thats what they call it when your cervix opens for no reason way before it's supposed to (ie during labor) and obv risks many bad things happening to your pregnancy. So they gave me a "cervical cerclage" which is when they basically stitch your cervix closed at around 14 weeks. She made it exactly one day shy of 27 weeks and my water broke.

jmarinalynn @sterlinglife3 One of the BAD things that can happen when the cervix opens like that is foreign bodies can be introduced in to the uterus causing infection. They said that my placenta was extremely infected and had abscesses on it 😲😲😲. Looking back, I hate myself for still indulging in sex while pregnant which is one big way infections like that can happen...

jmarinalynn @sterlinglife3 ...i didn't exactly know THAT at the time, I just knew we had to be SUPER careful if we were gonna do it so we didn't interfere with the stitches of the cerclage. Anyway, I tell you this whole story bc her due date was July 26 but she was born April 25 which means that she technically was BORN 17 and half months ago but with premies an "adjusted age" is usually used to be more accurate developmentally.

jmarinalynn @sterlinglife3 So when people ask us her age, I count from her due date so that it's easier for them to understand, for she looks more like a 14.5 month old rather than an almost 18 month old. They say theyre usually all caught up around 2 so you can stop using the adjusted or "fake" age around then!

You didn’t need to erase/block my comments b/c it makes you look like you have something to hide. We all need to learn how to take constructive criticism and admit when we’re wrong. toni_5708 @jmarinalynn Hi, you are right about TB how ever experience are different, they have beautiful style but unfortunately they are not comfy , I like their sandals i can tolerate short distances & same for flat cuz insoles doesn’t have enough padding, wedges are my fave I have 1 black open toe I use all the time but 1/2 size bigger, I admit overall they are not made for walking long distance but they are very pretty for showing off 😂 ❤️💕

I think I’m gonna try a 8.5 Tory wedge soon to see how I can handle that and they don’t have to be like running shoe comfy but they can’t make my feet feel like they’re gonna pop or be cut in half! 😱
