bumbleandlou Be very careful purchasing from this seller I purchased a “new” restoration Hardware scarf that was filled with moth holes. Because I was very sick I was unable to collect the package before I could file a complaint it was labelled completed and I couldn’t file a complaint. The seller has never responded to my messages and requests for a refund.

The first time I was aware that the buyer claimed to have an issue with the RH Cashmere Gossamer Scarf she purchased was her slanderous, narcissistic rant in my comment section. jaredcanada1 ….however Poshmark and I have record that she posted two rants on two separate comment sections in an obvious attempt to garner leverage and sympathy in the court of public opinion “before” ever reaching out to me. The actions of an entitled, self-absorbed and duplicitous individual in my opinion.

jaredcanada1 Of course after reading the two rants she posted “before” reaching out to me, I was not at all compelled to read the two messages she sent several minutes afterwards or felt engaging her directly was warranted given her ludicrous and disrespectful behaviour. I believe it good practice to just leave those types of individuals and those who support them to stew alone in their own toxicity.

jaredcanada1 My initial interaction was the buyer offering a somewhat absurdly low price. I saw the offer a few hours later, sent her a counter offer, which was immediately declined. Several days later she messaged me and stated that if I lowered my price to my they of my counter offer and offered the scarf publicly, so she could receive Poshmark discounted shipping, that she would purchase it. I did as she requested and she purchased the item.

jaredcanada1 The Scarf was in its box, within another box. It was wrinkled, so I carefully steamed it smooth, tri-folded it, placed it back in the box wrapped with tissue paper and added a personalized thank you card, as usual.

jaredcanada1 I posted the Scarf that same afternoon and informed the buyer via email that it was on its way. The package arrived at the address provided October 3, 2023 and the funds were released 3 days later on October 6, 2023. I checked the site and there were no issues pending, so I redeemed the amount earned.

jaredcanada1 On October 14, 2023, 12 days after the Scarf arrived the buyer signed onto Poshmark and describes the Scarfs condition as if I brazenly liberated it from some unfortunate, moth infested homeless person and that it was in no way new, which is blatantly disingenuous and added that she “paid a lot of money for it”. She pain approximately 50% of its original cost. It’s an RH item, not a Bottega Veneta.

jaredcanada1 I have lodged a complaint against this buyer as slandering one’s name and or reputation is a violation of Poshmark guidelines. It is my opinion that dealing with members who believe and demonstrate that the guidelines do not apply to them should be avoided.

jaredcanada1 The Poshmark community has been fantastic to be a part of. I feel the community should not be subjected to abuse of any sort, or allow a malicious, coffin dodging oxygen thief to intentionally attempt to smear and damage the honour the reputation of Poshmark members.
