@melaniegreycat actually we are pure Irish lol. I’ve had this chat with Caroline too since she is English. My work took me to many commonwealth countries so I was able to collect tins and such from all over. I love the royal history - just started watching The Crown.

love your closet! I see you have a love of British tins too! Mt favorite are Huntley and Palmer biscuit tins, as I used to live in Reading England where they were made. The museum there has an amazing collection.

@ukyankee I too lived in Reading!! The Reading Gaol! But my favorite museum was the Robert Opie Museum in Gloucester. They had their tins arranged by decade - hundreds of tins! It was my dream at one point to decorate like a general store but life kept getting in the way ! Now it’s time to downsize the “closet” 😁

We lived in the town center, right behind Greyfriars Church, where I also worked. It was opposite end of Friar St from the Town Hall.

@vintage2classic GM- the tins are from my travels. The music was my mom's when she was a girl and then later my Dad purchased a few for her. She played the piano. I learned but never really played. A few of the sheets have her initials and some notes which is nice. And some are good just for the cover images!
