cgracemom @jackiemcabee When I first started selling I would always start my day with the main feed page and just scroll through and share about 20 different sellers items and in turn those sellers (most) would share my items and then people started following me and my sales grew. Over time I learned how to take better pictures by looking at many other sellers closets and arranging my items differently and changing lighting helped. Good luck

Located at the top of every page is a circle with your icon JM in blue, if you click on this circle a drop down menu comes up , scroll to the bottom of the list and click on the Guide to Poshmark there you'll find info on lots of subjects to get started. cgracemom @jackiemcabee Hi Jackie, it’s a bit of work in the beginning. Exposure is the key, sharing your items constantly and sharing the items of other established sellers. That’s why even today when I have some down time I start at the top of the main feed page and share other people’s listings. The next step is if you get any likes on your items, then make an offer to likers . Start small only 10% and the lowest shipping discount.

cgracemom Sometimes I just lower the price that way I don’t pay for a shipping discount. It’s all about the exposure so if you see that some items have likes, share those first many times a day. I will continue to share your items because it will be seen by my followers. Don’t worry about sharing mine, just concentrate on your closet. Hang in there it will take off at some point. 🌸

cgracemom My next tip is lighting, always have good lighting for your cover shots. Anything in the shadows is hard for people to see detail. Your can always replace your photos with another one. Just click edit listing and choose pics that you want to replace delete that photo and use a new one. Your recent listings are in excellent light. Keep that up this is your advertisement make it beautiful. 🌸🌸

cgracemom Today is closet clear out and when Posh offers this you can lower your price and they will pay to reduce the shipping. Start small just 10% because future closet clear out you will have to go lower % than your last time. Only do this on items that you can take less $$ on. Know your value by Goggling a search for expensive items or search your brand in Posh and see what other sellers are posting their prices at. 🌸

cgracemom When I started selling I had an android phone and my pics were terrible. Over time I did improve by looking at other people’s closets and there staging. Now I have an iPhone which helps with pictures so much. I still have to watch my lighting though. Another thing I learned is that people want to see the inside of handbags. Some look pristine on the outside and then the inside needs cleaning. Always disclose any Fluor cleaning issues. 🌸

cgracemom @jackiemcabee What I meant to say is many people’s handbags have marks and stains inside and buyers like to see inside the bag they also like to see the designer tag inside. So any flaws, damage or stains needs to be described and photographed in the listing. 🌸

cgracemom @jackiemcabee Go to your closet and look for the 2 tools crossed over each other on the right side of your page. Click on the tools and choose offer to likers, then you will be promoted to choose a % rate off to offer a long with a shipping discount. Then all your items with likers will come up, you have to choose which ones you want by clicking on each item when you are done choosing find the highlighted bar that says submit to likers.

Maybe I was editing too many times. A few if my likes had been changed to unlike. I guess I didn’t respond to giving them a discount. Or maybe made by mistake.Thanks for all help

There are so many ways to find what works sometimes Posh Ambassadors will have something on their page and other times I google or search YouTube. Wishing you much success on your sales.

cgracemom @jackiemcabee There are definitely ups and downs to sales volume. In the first year especially. We are approaching the buying season with the holidays and that usually gives a boost to sales. I have noticed that some of your clothing items need size updates, example of one is the strapless bra, be sure to take clear pictures of the interior size tags. Visit any seller’s closet and check their pictures of clothing and how they measure and show sizing. 🌸

cgracemom @jackiemcabee Hi Jackie, While using Poshmark on your phone, go to the lower right side and click on your name circle. From there scroll down to my Posh stats and open this area. I no longer can see what requirements are for the 1st Ambassador level because I'm in the second level now. But you will be able to see from this page what is required under "check my progress". I hope this was helpful for you and I of course will check out your closet from time to time and let you know any improvements

cgracemom @jackiemcabee Yes, I understand. If you have a balance from sales and want it separate from your purchases you must sign up to have your balance sent to your bank. If you make purchases it will automatically come out of your sales $ so you must send it to the bank every time If you go to the balance section . Under your name circle scroll down to Guide to Poshmark and then scroll down to How do I get paid. There will be step by step instructions on how to transfer your balance to your bank. 🌸

jackiemcabee Grace, I have a bundle from a buyer, showing only one item. Notification stated make an offer on bundle so it could be closed. I went on page and there wasn’t anything except to make an offer. I made offer and shipping just as it was a like. It wasn’t sent to buyer as far as I know. Can you help. Can a person bundle out of several peoples closets.

cgracemom @jackiemcabee Hello, lets talk about the bank first. If you have a balance from your Posh sales that's what Poshmark takes out of first when you buy something. I'm confident that you were not double billed as Poshmark is very careful with finance. Each time you get paid from sales you must go in and send your $ to the bank account you have set up if you want it separate.

cgracemom @jackiemcabee Now let's talk about bundles. People very often make a bundle with only one item, you do not have to offer them a lower amount unless you want to. Also a bundle is from one closet, it means a buyer could put as many items from your closet as they want then only pay shipping one time instead of on each individual item. You will only see bundles people have made with your items, no one can combine items from other closets into a bundle with yours.

breezy8312 I saw a message you posted about getting over Covid. My mother, my youngest daughter, and myself as well… we all 3 had Covid at the SAME TIME and it was truly awful, so I can understand! For me, the hardest part was when I started getting better! Even though I was improving, it took a month before my energy started coming back, so I was often overdoing it! I pray your recovery is coming right along and you start feeling better really soon!🙏🏼💖
