@kanejames8888 you can see the paint has rubbed off right? so how do you suggest i post a picture of something that's all but gone?
i posted that picture because it shows that it's been heat stamped which you wont usually see on fakes. the number itself is pretty irrelevant unless you have factory preferance or need them to have been manufacted in a specific week of a specific year in which case if you actually want to buy them im sure i could find out.

its called common sense... you don't have to be a dick

@kanejames8888 Ok but If the other shoe was better dont you think thats what id have posted? THAT would be common sense. What you're suggesting is actually the opposite.
There was nothing negative or hostile in anything i said. Thats you projecting YOUR negative energy. You asked me something and i responded.

your comment says the "the number is pretty irrelevant" well... if you know anything about louis vuitton, the number is actually EVERYTHING
good luck with your sale
cheers

@kanejames8888 what are you talking about and why are you so dramatic? lol 'if you know louis vuitton then you know it's EVERYTHING' like it seems like went and caught feelings for the datecode lol you delivered that line with such passion...i got goosebumps lol but for real though, im pretty sure it just indicates the factory they were made, the country and which week of what year. i could be wrong but thats my understanding

most people when buying used louis vuitton items from this site like to cross reference the date codes to assure they are real (lots of fakes out there)... especially when buying a pair of worn on shoes for $500
just saying

@kanejames8888 Its funny that you keep trying to sound knowledgeable and intelligent but all you're actually doing is spewing generalizations in a codescending tone and somehow..... you come off sounding even less intelligent, which at this point,i didnt even think was possible. You actually proved my point for me lol the fact that people think that a datecode confirms authenticity is WHY they end up buying fakes
.

@kanejames8888 If you actually understood what it is then you would understand that it isnt difficult for someone to replicate a legitimate code and put it on a fake item so when you 'cross reference' it, it checks out.
Since the concept of common sense is lost on you, here another example, if the code proved authenticity they would call it an authenticity code.
Its called a DATEcode for a reason.
