We visited York Harbor for a vacation one year in September. Wow! Was that water black by Nubble Lighthouse & these heads popped up out of the deep water dressed in black, holding spears & with headlamps on! Spearfishing!! All I could think of was Jaws was in there! LOL. All kidding aside, the Lobster, fish, & Blueberry Pancakes were awesome.

@kriss10fashion Iโm glad that you had such a wonderful time in Maine! I donโt think I have actually stopped in York since I was a kid and my family met friends for beach day shenanigans. I currently live in Portland (Maineโs onlyโbut smallโcity). However, I grew up on an island up the coast a bit, which has a population of only about 800 year-round.

We went to Portland, also. I will never forget catching the coastline from the left side of the plane where we were sitting. It was breathtaking. The ruggedness just dropping into the glistening sea. The sun was so bright & all of sailboats marooned. It was an Ah Ha moment, Oprah worthy. Wow!

We drove one way & came upon a graveyard up so high. overlooking the rocks & sea. Tombstones were flat slabs. Some dating into the 1600's. Looked like from the wars & a was a possible lookout. Oh my, was that eerie & so beautiful at the same time. Do you know of this?

@kriss10fashion โบ๏ธI have not been on a plane since 2012 but have two smaller tips planned for the next few months. You reminded me of something. Recently my grandmother told me about her honeymoon trip to Cape Cod. They went for a ride in a small open-aired plane! This summer she went sky-diving for the second time at age 78 and is so hooked.

No, no sailing. I live in Illinois. Thete is a hot air baloon rally, rides, fair that benefits special needs children. The sky has tons of them. There are also found in the high elevation of Galena, Illinois, where you can see 4 states at once. That would be gorgeous in your area!

@valeriebra Absolutely! They both contain the signature โmiracle brothโ that La Mer known for. However, they have very different textures. The original creme de la Mer is thicker and heavierโlike โbutter in a jar.โ The newer soft creme has a lighter texture that seems more โwhippedโ and sinks into the skin for more of a matte finish.

@valeriebra While the original is geared more towards drier skin types, the soft cream is geared more towards combination/dry skin. However, some people find that they like the first cream in the winter and then the soft cream in the summer.

@valeriebra the original should be warmed between the fingers before applied, which also helps you get more out of it...while the soft cream can be applied right away. The most significant difference in the ingredients is that the original contains mineral oil and the soft cream does not. There are several grades of mineral oil but you can bet your dollar that La Mer uses the top-grade stuff.

@chaukette Thank you! I have thick and dry hair so I need to keep it hydrated regularly. I use a โno-pooโ that doesnโt suds and a creamy low/no rinse conditioner from the same brand which uses no parabens, sulfates, or silicones. Curls have a mind of their own....

Cool...a December baby! Me, 2! I used to not be impressed with zircon as our birthstone until I began learning about gemstones. I am now VERY impressed, but the little buggers are hard to acquire. @onemorejj Iโm on the small island of Islesboro in Penobscot Bay right now. It is where I grew up and where I currently work. The wind picked up around 7ish and then there was rain and for several hours with white caps across the bay. This morning is is bright and sunny, about 78 degrees and the ocean is calm. The storm drove more inland through the western mountains and up to Canada instead of swiping East across state. Thanks for checking in! ๐

I mostly just use whatever backgrounds I have so my closet is not fully consistent in style (can we call that eclectic???).

@grammeee also, I love when fellow poshers model the clothing they are selling but I have so many sizes that sone of the items donโt fit me and other times the lighting is not right. Natural lighting is best. I try to photograph items at a tiny of day when the light showcases colors most naturally, although it doesnโt always happen.

@grammeee if I have several items to list at a time I try to take photos during the middle of the day and then usually end up listing them later after I have gathered as many details as I can. People definitely like to know measurements too and often ask. To skip that step of the process you can just include the measurements in the description or add photos that have a measuring tape utilized for reference.

@grammeee oh! Another tip is to take photos that work for a square image. If you are using your phone you can just use the square view setting but if you have a different camera you will just have to be aware that your photos will need to be cropped to square dimensions. It would be helpful to take photos a little farther away if this is the case so that you can show off the full garment when it is cropped.

@irzlo_0912 you could email poshmark to check for verification on the buyer but if you have a label I would go ahead and package it nicely and send it out. There are protections in place for both sellers and buyers on poshmark in case anything goes awry.

Someone by the name of William D you are following who just reached out to me about a piece of clothing asked me to email him. Out of curiosity I did so and he is one of those scammers who tries to trick you into sending him money and then heโll either double it or send more. Beware. Block him.

Hey Olivia! nice to see you again and thanks for the shares! I too appreciate the ocean clean up efforts by all those groups who work so hard at it. I like to buy bracelets from 4Ocean for friends to support their efforts. Growing up on the ocean in a fishing family makes it hit home.

@soultea Wow, moving to Waldoboro! my husband's home turf, so are a lot of others judging by the housing market. There are not a lot of places to rent and the houses sell almost as soon as they're listed. I'm sure we'll cross paths it's a small town but it does cover a lot of rural territory.

My husband teaches at the high school and we wanted property with some land for gardens, an orchard, and woods for future children to roam, explore, and play in so the location made sense to us. We are looking forward to connecting with the community there!
