@mxg06 You live in the Bronx? My parents grew up in the city, & when I was a kid we’d go & visit my relatives. And until the pandemic, I went every year to the Westminster Dog Show. I love the city!! 😍 I’m hoping to go back again, but with the crime surge, I’m going to wait. BTW- we at neighbors, I’m in Rhode Island. 🥰

@claudisnook I’m a big city person so I love New York but where I am, it’s very quiet with old people 😅 I’m often in the city for school or just the shopping so it’s definitely crowded and crime rates in Times Square are… 😒 I’ve been looking to go to Rhode Island for a little while. I’m in high school and looking into possible colleges and Brown University is great.

@mxg06 Rhode Island is a pretty cool little state. You’d love Providence, city life with lots to do. The crime rate is quite low too. And we have 400 miles of coastline & some quaint towns. Yup, I miss NYC. The dog show is being held in Queens in May. But I figured I’d wait until crime is lower. When do you graduate?

Basenjis are like cats. They are quiet and just sleep 😂 Astoria hated it outside. Exactly one month after she passed I thought about her and these other Basenjis I hadn’t seen in a year and like 30 seconds later they were in front of me. I always think it’s a sign ❤️

@mxg06 it’s so true! They’re very quiet and love cuddling and hanging at home! I remember my ex’s HATED going outside in the rain or when it was wet. That’s so adorable tho you saw some shortly after her passing, that’s definitely a sign from the universe 🥹 honestly coming across your page and seeing yours felt like a sign to me and brought a smile to my face. @jacobcounsil Thank you! The food is what’s expensive. What they serve in the dining halls is subsidized so everything is cheap, like I got a chicken parm sandwich and cauliflower for like $4.25!! But other places are very more costly. I added some more things to my page. I’m seeing what food I can take from my mom’s pantry too 😅😅

@mxg06 omg I can only imagine! Food in general is insane and inflation is crazy! I’m sure all these universities mark up everything like crazy too so they can profit! I remember going to an Oklahoma College Football game and the food and drinks there was nuts lol. I don’t blame you getting extra goodies from your mom’s pantry😂 my mom doesn’t cook often but anytime she makes anything I’m always asking her for leftovers lol😂

I hosted a show last night and sold 7 things!! I wanted to start earlier around 11:00 but my mom forgot about the cheesecake she wanted to make and started really late so I didn’t get on until midnight but it’s okay 😊 Half my bag I’m taking back with me is gonna be filled with food 😅 I’m taking pasta, cooking utensils, etc. I sometimes cook and bake back in college so I need better tools lol. The kitchen is awful. Doesn’t have anything and nobody cleans up after themselves.

It’s just regular cheesecake! Simple but delicious. I usually make rice and beans back in college, so I don’t have to go out every night. I’m planning on bringing some to my neighbors when I make more. I have some very sweet neighbors. Other ones…. Not so much 😅😅

@mxg06 one thing I miss so much about being in Toronto last year is the fact I can walk literally everywhere! I legit walked like 5-6 miles a day and it was refreshing. I live in Oklahoma basically in the middle of nowhere so the only walking I get is around the block and there’s too many people who keep their dogs loose so I really can’t run around the neighborhood 🤦♂️

@mxg06 honestly I’ve only taken him around the neighborhood a few times only because I didn’t want any fights 😂 some of the people around here don’t train their dogs well, Cosmo is good on the leash but sometimes he does get a lil excited and wants to pull. My family has 2 acres so sometimes I let him loose in the pasture and let him run around to explore!
