Maggy Reeves vintage 70s hand painted gown in VGUC L(estimated) I love the light and airy feel of the dress that is created by the yards and yards of silk chiffon used for the skirt. The silk layers that make up the skirt are all cut on the bias and this gives it lovely movement. The bodice is sleeved and has light padding in the shoulders for shape. Back and front have hand painted floral pattern, so delicate and artfully done. Many buttons at back. edges are artfully hand rolled. overall great condition, buttons have light marks. there is a tiny hole on a sleeve, but it's inside a fold, so not visilble Sleeves: 22" Shoulders: 15" Bust: to 20" flat across from side seam to side seam Waist: to 19" flat across from side seam to side seam Length: 60" from top of shoulder to longest points of hem Maggy Reeve’s Couture was the rage among Toronto's fashion scene of social elite.
