deidresmith91 @chicnation thank you 🥰. I wish I could do it like that myself!!! And no these are called Dutch braids. French braids (which I can do pretty decently myself) lay underneath. Dutch braids lay on top. You are more than welcome to use my picture as a reference or you can google Dutch braids and find different stylings there of course. 💕💋💕

I wanted to invite you to visit my closet, but then I saw your beautiful Dutch Braids & stopped in my tracks. Oh my goodness your hair is beautiful!! I was able to do one long Dutch braid one time & it happened by accident. I was trying for a French Braid but it ended up on the outside. Happy accident! I went and had that done, I wish I was that talented (although the lady was so rough with my hair 🤦🏼‍♀️ ) I’ve just in the last three weeks taught myself how to french braid. Maybe a couple more weeks of practice and I’m going to try and do the Dutch!! I will be sure to check out your closet. Thank you so much 🥰

meak1972 @deidresmith91 You’re welcome! It’s not easy to have your hair braided. I’ve had it done before and it hurts and pulls really hard on your scalp, but the end result is worth it. They lasted about a week, but by then I was ready to have them out anyway. French, Dutch or any braiding of any kind is really hard on your arms. They get tired fast!! Take care and it’s nice to “meet” you!
