purple_cocoon I apologize if I came across snippy. That wasn't my intention. I've been mentoring a lot of new Poshers and people asking for trades and nonsense so I'm trying to keep my comments ethical for the newbies to get them started out the right way if that makes sense and I'm using my closet for examples for them.

maralliefashion @purple_cocoon No, I do it all by hand. I've heard of them too but they make me nervous. Some people in the Facebook groups (poshmark & poshmark thrifters) use them and I've been meaning to look into them.

maralliefashion @purple_cocoon I just saw your first comment from yesterday; I totally understand and realize now that A) People are more inclined to five 5 stars here anyway, and B) I put a lot of love and care into packaging, I'm sure I'll be racking up love notes without any kind of incentive. I do love shareblasting someone's closet and making them happy, I'll probably continue to do that but not advertise it.

maralliefashion @purple_cocoon con't...I'm coming from ebay where feedback is often used to exploit sellers into giving refunds or returns on dishonest complaints or buyers remorse, so I thought I had to be a little more proactive but I see now that Posh is a much more warm & fair community. i know scams happen here too but everyone seems much less cynical. Thanks for trying to be a role model for us new Poshers!

candydarkness @maralliefashion two things I learned pretty quickly 1) anything of value will attract someone trying to lure you into an offsite sale and defraud you 2) add a polite note to your packing slip that Poshmark doesn't not refund for items "not fitting". But i've never really had any issues on Posh tbh.

purple_cocoon Yeah eBay can be shady. I stopped using eBay years ago and I find Poshmark is the best platform for creativity and a wonderful community of fabulous people aside from the few bad apples that you find anywhere you go. I never saw the mass sharing idea in your closet until I got the message but I think it's a great idea.

purple_cocoon I've gotten thank you cards from sellers pretty much demanding 5 star ratings and positive feedback and it's not published. Very annoying and not ethical so that's why I'm trying to teach them the right way right off the bat. I think the mass sharing is a great incentive and it's free instead of extra goodies in the package.

purple_cocoon I agree. If you're selling nice items and package them well people give great feedback. Who doesn't love to open a beautiful personalized package with a hand written note? I package everything with love regardless if it's a $5.00 sale or a $100 sale and people remember that. Your packaging was very nice!!! There's nothing worse then getting something that was thrown into a bag or box covered in pet hair or a purse full of crumbs. Really?

purple_cocoon I would've never guessed your new to Poshmark. Your closet is beautiful. I'm trying to redo mine plus build my boutique. I have Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis and I'm lucky if I can get one thing listed per day or even every other day. I am so behind I have enough inventory for a whole year...lol. Now sick with strep and pneumonia so I had to put myself on vacation for couple days 😳

purple_cocoon I love that you give back to the community as well. I do that with a lot of stuff, especially my Coach pet accessories but I'm a social worker so I'm always involved in community stuff. I put that right in my listing about the proceeds from my pet accessories. I donate 100% of the proceeds from those items.

connecticutchef Thanks for shipping the Peter Millar BMW shirt (purple). While it is marked XL - I believe that it is a women’s shirt and not a men’s. It is “cut” for a woman and is not a men’s XL. Do you think that it may have been mismarked? I’m happy to keep it and not have to deal with returning - but just wanted to bring this to your attention. I’m happy to take a pic and share with you - clearly a more “curvy” cut than a man’s square cut.

vanessamarie211 @maralliefashion I placed the order on March 26. It won’t tell me the date I accepted or it was delivered bc I didn’t leave her a comment. I’d guess it was about a week total. Mine was only $10 though too. So I see your frustration. You can cancel it if she doesn’t ship within a certain number of days. But now posh gives them more time bc of covid.

I don't really want to cancel, but most of it was gifts and a couple of things for myself I really wanted, at a great deal, and I don't want to give that up, but at the same time, as a seller, this is a disappointing experience

walkingons hello I just saw a copy of something that I have that you've sold I just hoping that there's not a misunderstanding I was looking up the price for the painted fish and underneath it it says if you have one like this you would like to sell then let's start now something like that and they have clicked that but I didn't buy the fish I'm sorry I misunderstood I have one exactly like at the same colors and I don't know whether I had actually put it up for sale yet I was researching prices
