The elastic is at the level of where the bottom of the sleeves attach, and this is about 3-4" below where your bra band would sit, so not a pit-to-pit measurement doesn't make sense in this circumstance. P2P gives the widest part of the chest, but in this top, that would be within the wide dropped sleeves.
