@liledeglace So my set is 10% off 3 or more, but if people personally bundle a bunch of items I've easily given off 30% of more depending on the items. I also try to give a discount with free shipping, so sometimes I do less so that I can still make a couple bucks, but they won't have to pay any shipping fees. I also am accepting offers on single items, where if I have had it for a while, I will accept a low offer or counter 30% off.

One of my ex-coworkers who was a huge LGBTQ rights activist went on to nursing school as well with her partner of 9 years. I agree with you, St Jude is an excellent hospital to donate to. They truly help kids. I have never been in the receiving end of their help, but I have 3 handicapped (autism/Aspergers) kids and 2 grandkids. I guess that’s why I like donated to St Jude. Also a good charity is The Ronald McDonald House. They help family who need a place to stay while their children are in the hospital. Too many other charities out there give very little to their causes. Some as little as 10%.

I used to conduct focus groups with expecting moms and offer them free pampers & stuff，so I always thought the baby stuff must be the safest，or there would be so many FDA recalls。

Hey I'm really thrown off by the comment you made on a mood ring in my closet. Just because it doesn't come with a box doesn't mean it can't be considered a gift. Also it's not required to post a color code chart to be a gift. Anyone can do a simple internet search & see what resonates. i also have a good relationship with the local animal shelter where we walk and write bios for pets that need to be rehomed💔and there is always cancer research，where sometimes the funds go to too💕i let the buyers pick a pet cause and one person wanted her $5 purchase to go towards salvation army💖generally prefer to give in the form of time，which most these organizations prefer，so i do feel for ya when you said how the short Saturday hours make it difficult to ship until Monday😊

@ldmtreasures i just do not know what to make of this app because i purchased from 8 different vendors and only received 6 orders the past month:( plus，being in the middle of a move，there is really no way to fix anything unless i change my address on here again，but thinking back，i really cannot recommend any of my purchases as a direct to-charity because poshers usually forget to disclose flaws or used status。

Sometime ladies just put a bunch of old, broken etc jewelry in a box and sell for $25.00. Crafters like myself use to repurpose and make new jewelry. Just a thought.

@liledeglace I wear Dansko shoes almost exclusively because of a foot issue, & Dansko is a good brand that is pricey when bought new. I’ve been blessed to get a few pairs from Poshmark sellers on this site. The package lost was a pair of Dansko. Hopefully someone got them that can use them. 🤷♀️

Hi! I hate to see you gave me a poor rating when I shipped your items out in a 24 hr window. I too had a Poshmark package to get lost, but knew it was not the seller’s fault because Poshmark gives tracking information to where you can see when & where the package has gone. I’m really sorry that you did not get your package, but just as in my case, I would have never dreamed of giving the seller a poor rating when it was the fault of USPS.

@liledeglace I can’t remember which day I mailed it- only that I get almost all packages out in a 24-48 hr window. Again, you rated me as a seller at a 1 star, when the lost package was not my fault. If you want to rate the USPS, then you need to go to their website & file a complaint. The tracking number shows I mailed it & that it traveled there. Oh well. 😑

@liledeglace I understand what you are saying, but that is still not the seller’s (my) fault. Your rating here on Poshmark was a rating for me personally, not for USPS. It’s fine. (That’s just me) The rings are just for fun 🤩 most are made from repurposed earrings or beads I just thought were cool. I take the pictures to show the true colors they don’t change like semi precious stones in expensive rings do. Never stop looking and don’t second guess yourself. 🕊🇺🇸

@liledeglace Thanks so much for noticing! I just made Posh Ambassador II, but it seems the requirements to keep it are unrealistic. There are 4 requirements, 2 of which discriminate against small sellers and favor only those sellers that wholesale or do this as a full time job. For example, the amount of 250 "new listings created" requirement of is ridiculous and I can't even meet it on a quarterly basis simply since I dont have the amount of capital needed to lay out.

The second requirement of "50" sales per quarter is unattainable for me since I've been on Poshmark for 4 years and only have 98 sales in 4 years! I got the designation on March first and it will be gone by April 1, so sad, I worked soooo hard! I dont think the title should be based on quarterly sales, since I cant force people to buy...just sayin'....

I had one wolf or someone message me in a bundle and offer to kill for me&more interesting poshers I’ve met on this app:( sometimes I need to turn the vacay button on! I hate labels so it’s been a little difficult. Credit card company also reached out to me to confirm purchases before paying orders outright.

I've had people try to switch out items & say they were received broken to try & get them for free, one guy tried to say he never received the items when he had already gone to the PO to sign for them & worst of all I have all 5 star ratings & this one woman gave me 2 stars w/'"other" as an explanation. I tried to find out what went wrong, but she just ignored me.Those are the worst ones because they probably have buyers regret & just didnt like it!

If you noticed one of the first listings I have in my closet says "I record the packaging of all sales for safety", this is because of scammers. I get a lot of questions on it and some think its very drastic, but I put it up front so scammers know I dont put up with dishonesty or fraud.

@happyday111960 haha, if it’s just one outta the many orders you got, than it’s likely it didn’t fit right or they noticed something in the construction of the product that wasn’t to par with their standards and maybe they are embarrassed they don’t know their size or whatever! Online shopping is not for everyone!

@happyday111960 Similar to Amazon, Poshmark has cracked down on returns to not saying the reason was just “changed mind” so as much as I’ve wanted to help those people who gave me one stars by accepting their return, sometimes Poshmark simply won’t help them or approve the return because they don’t believe it was indeed an accidental purchase.

It was a leather pocketbook, so fit as a reason was out. She never tried to return it & wouldnt respond. I think she had buyers regret & instead of asking for a return or reposhing it, she gave me a 2. Obviously all 5 star rating says Im doing something right, so I have no idea what the issue was. I take all my pics in bright sunlight for accuracy

@liledeglace The bag was shipped within hours of the sale, I sent her notifications to keep her updated, wrapped it in tissue paper, inside a plastic bag to protect from elements, added a thank you note and it arrived in 2 days. I dont think Poshmark emphasizes enough that ratings should be given on the SERVICE you were provided by the seller NOT the product. Thats what Posh says when you ask them was ratings should be based on.

I volunteered at the va over a decade ago so I figured that was enough veteran organizations I’ve supported in my lifetime. I do not think military is the answer to bolstering this country, so that was not the first charity that came to mind and I also prefer educational charities! Serves me right for being so responsive on a Saturday, lol!

@liledeglace They wont do anything about it, not even ask the buyer to explain instead of "other". I've put together a list of things that need to be reviewed and every onvce in a while they ask for suggestions to "improve" the sight. One of them will be to eliminate "other" as a reason for low stars and require a real reason/choice like "I just didnt like it". Then they can review whether or not they will let it effect someones Posh stats! So nice chatting with you. Take care! L.

I would not blame yourself or take it personally, especially if you did not create the product yourself. Fact is there’s a reason you decided to post and sell the item so the buyer probably experienced similar issues with the product you were successfully able to sell to them.

Believe me when I say you’re not the first ambassador to complain about the levels and how Poshmark feels disingenuous at times so I have been discouraged from actually becoming an ambassador and all the added responsibilities it comes with! @pandapup8787 I got bit on the ankle by one of 2 unleashed dogs this man owned while I was helping family pass out their menu and the one that bit me looked like your favorite breed, lol. They are popular in my state and because of the city of Pittsburgh but they can be dangerous too, lol. After my dad got bit at the park recently, my mother refused to adopt big dogs and wanted a small breed.

@pandapup8787 My sister would often volunteer at the animal shelter as I like to do and found an older friend for Becky but that dog was so chill and had so many health problems that they were not quite the right temperament for her 2-3yo lab! You can volunteer to walk them and feed them and write their bios before you commit to a breed for life😉

Sorry to hear you guys got bitten. Was it a bad bite? Cuz puppies bite all the time! And that’s when the owner should have taught them not to. My cousins puppy is so rough. He plays with her too rough and doesn’t know how to gentle with me! I don’t have thick skin to have her bite and scratch me!!

Your dogs are so cute. I used to have labs, and an English Springer. Now I have an old chihuahua. She’s a longhair one. Now that in a senior I’m liking little dogs. Easier for me. Especially since I keep them in this house. What breed it the brown curly haired dog you have? I’m thinking of a poodle or Golden Retriever mix. It’s so pretty. I love labs. Mine have always been black. A yellow would be different.

@liledeglace The party invites don't bother me as much as some other things. Apparently they recently changed their programming and a lot of things don't work as well as before. I've had problems with a few things with no satisfaction from Poshmark Support. I've aslo heard a lot of people complaining since the programming changes.

I’ve had some good and bad:( sometimes the packages are lost forever because USPS sucks and we have reimbursement issues and lost somewhere in lost mail piles. Packages come damaged with broken stuff:( I feel so bad because I can see the effort and thought is there and sometimes poshers will send something different than agreed upon… the only consolation is the pieces I pick tend to be very unique so

@liledeglace I heard that sharing someone's items to your followers, doesn't go to your followers. It may or may not show up on the feed page. It's very random. Also if you do multiple sharing of someone's items, it's easier & quicker on computer or lap top than it is on your cell phone.

I’m in the process of moving again but feel free to share your lists and in search of lists in your own closet and pretty soon, it’s my hope new poshers will come by and offer you those items in their closets that they do not want for free or near free because sometimes one receives very unfitting gifts that they usually have to gift or reposh and rehome!

For taller people, they don’t really need the P! For example, my mother is very tough to shop for because she’s XSP! My sister Donna and I strive to be more M in general so it’s like you don’t need to gain or loose weight, if that makes sense!

@wenwen555 My mother is unfortunately very picky about her jewelry:( everything needs to be 24k although I have sensitive skin and love beading and love jewelry that’s cool to the touch! No rush though! In due time, all your chores will get done and next Saturday I have to be at a wedding so there’s the one party I’m allowing myself:( I’m getting stricter since COVID about parties but I’m so happy for you that you found some fun and safe ones to attend!

I think it’s because they are slowly but surely saving up their funds and I have to remember I’m doing this for charity so I can’t rush the process even if there are many pressing charities I love to support!

It’s a little easier when there is some distance but my mother is one stubborn lady as well and I don’t expect either of them to change so I just pray neither of them gets COVID but they don’t really listen and I’m expected to house sit like 24/7! I got inpatient so I had to slip out for a few seconds as well but some kids were throwing this broken bottle across the street so I feel like this pandemic is making everyone, young or old, act crazy! Argh!

My brother-in-law is mad cuz he skipped out on the sushi bar so by the time he started looking for his food all the pizza shops that said they would be open was closed or sold their last pie so we suggested joes steaks but he didn’t want anything from there:(

@wenwen555 haha! Then the restaurant she picked was definitely not for you because the Japanese chef who came up with the concept left but it’s funny we did get exactly that! Sushi and oyster! The waitress was really good at her job tho and tried to pressure us to get tacos or some of the more popular items she tried to introduce like sushi tacos or something! She also convinced me to get oysters because they were only $3.5 each but we had to get at least 3:(

@wenwen555 she said they serve east coast and west coast ones, which as a biology major, I didn’t know but it escaped my mind that they would migrate and have slightly different species of oysters, and she just picked the more popular ones for us which I think she said was the west coast ones but it’s definitely not the best I’ve had!

So I was a little sad for you this weekend after you told me or warned me about your dad but I’m glad after all this family trauma you’re getting help and seeing someone about helping you relax and sometimes alcohol helps but some people are happy drunks and others cry when they drink so it makes me feel better that you’re seeing a doc instead!

@wenwen555 I worked for almost 3 years at a genetic testing site for people who were genetically predisposed to getting cancer and that was a very sad job on top of counseling troubled teens so I thought long and hard about if I wanted to be tested even if the news would be bad and something you can’t change, do I want the government or future employers potentially knowing that information about me, and I decided the answer was no but you’re much braver than I!

Loved your sale sign but sorry the fireworks were so chaotic for me and I was making sure nearby buildings in our skyline didn’t get damaged but I got a sale late last night and I ordered something for my cancer friend born 7/15 and one mailman tried to bring it over Friday evening but expected access to a residential building 🤦🏻♀️

As I was upset that the books I purchased for my cancer friend all arrived quickly but damaged and they still took almost $6 for shipping and today they gave me a hard time sending a package without tissues but they also redirected me to a smaller package that was too small and required that I classified the items and why fragile shipping was required, i was really losing my patience!

@wenwen555 The amount of investigations I’ve had to do for the past 3 years is terrible! Today I called them and they asked me to hold 44 minutes so I started walking to their office and I had to rate the live agent who took 57 minutes to answer my call but was verbally incomprehensible💔 they still said my opinion was important though so I was forced to rate bad service:(
