You are doing something, your giving your money to help. We all have different ways we can help. I chose that picture to hoping it would make an impression and make people think about outdoor cats are treated. If this was dogs people would care, but no one thinks of how hard it is for cats. jgreen0722 I put adds in news papers when l can afford it. I ask people to put out food and water, make simple shelters with blankets or straw. I explain how hard it is to try to survive outside. I also explain that trap/ fix/return is humane solution only if they are fed and sheltered. We all can do something and you are making donations and that really helps. So know that you know how hard it is to be an outdoor cat help educate people. That’s doing something , thanks, Jennifer G

jgreen0722 Ferrals will not come into your house only lost cats. So get a carrier out and if a cat meows back to you it’s tame but frightened, ferrals will never answer back, they will run away. Also if you look up how to make a ferral shelter on the net it will show you how simple it is to offer shelter with just an 18 gallon plastic box. Or try calling ferral rescuer and ask for help to make a shelter. The big plastic tubs are the best, put a cheap pillow in with a couple of fleece blankets will

jgreen0722 The fleece blankets will return body heat. I get some at thrift and goodwill stores but on top l put a new fleece blanket l get from Walmart for $2.50 each. The fleece truely returns the heat and helps them stay warm. I made my first shelter by cutting a horse shoe shape opening about six inches from ground so snow will not get in.l heated an old knife and just sawed my way thru, and kept heating the knife over flame on oven. Also you can buy lg round bit to put on a drill.

kimmy22berg @jgreen0722 I would definitely do that unfortunately I live in an area we’re they have horses animals etc. We don’t have stray cats unfortunately because we have Coyotes. It’s sad because you,always see signs for missing small animals. I do thank god for people like you I wish there were more of you.
