lscannl UPDATE: I saved up enough for my paddleboard last summer and have since blown every cent I've made here (lol) on more items to replenish my already overstocked closet....sooooo I'm giving myself a new challenge - I'm going to try to save up to take my husband on a surprise trip :) Wish me luck - it won't be easy with all your fab closets out there!!!

lillylover123 Hi! I'm sorry I'm not trying to be weird lol but I saw you comment on someone else's post that you're a detective and I just have to say I admire that! I've always wanted to ultimately be a state trooper here in Louisiana but I always get so much crap for it. People say it's too dangerous and it's not a woman's job. Anyway, I'm 22 now and about to graduate college and I'm still longing to do it but people are still discouraging me! Ugh. Any advice?

lscannl @lillylover123 follow your heart girl!! If that's what you want to do, DO IT. I've been a cop for 20 years, and these days women are far more accepted into the field than when I came on the job. It's not an easy job by any means, and it has it's dangers, but if you are a strong woman with confidence you can absolutely do it, and do it well.
