Yes, my Gen Z daughter turned this Gen-Xer onto Poshmark! But my love affair with fashion began during the age of Cher—which my dad called me because I changed my outfits constantly! I’ve been a model, seamstress, actress, costume designer and kept inventory in a boutique on Fashion Ave in NYC. I’m in my emptynest glory researching and listing posh fashion finds. I’m a proud mom to three out of this world women and two bonus daughters. I love hosting posh parties and sharing your fascinating posh finds. These days I can mostly be found in athleisure wear cleaning house, listening to music or watching tv with my hubby and our pound pup in our mid century modern home in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains. You think you’re overwhelmed...I have so much “stuff”. And I live in a very small apartment. Not only do I have my own stuff, to list, I sell for family & friends, friends of friends, cousins. Most of these people have very expensive taste in everything they buy. And many of these peeps are resellers from unbelievable thrift shops here in Ct. & down south! It’s either new or next to new stuff! There is another super site I sell on..if your interested let me know..I love to share!

@lefaverk hello, you can communicate with other Poshers by commenting on their posting. Also, after you add an item to a bundle, you can comment directly with the seller. Poshmark uses USPS priority 1-3 day mail. Most sellers ship out in the following day or 2.

@lefaverk to begin selling, make sure you have the app downloaded and log in, then you can tap the sell button or use a browser to start listing. After you add a pic you can fill in the details and publish to your followers. Then you can repost it and others can share it to their followers.

@ashleydixon8 hi, it is great for selling what you don't need then buying what you do need. Try to keep 10+ items available at all times and keep reposting them to your followers. Stay interactive with other Poshers, following, sharing their posts and sharing to Posh Parties. The party themes are based on what sells most here--and changes to fit seasons and trending brands so study those. Use the closet clearout sales and offer to Likers promotions.

@jones6303 hello, yes, it just means the item in the listing is not available. Sometimes people go on vacation and set a hold on their whole closet while they're gone. Or you can change the availability of an individual listing if it is sold locally (or in my case if my daughters come home from college and raid my poshmark closet!) :-)

@chrissquasi well mine just popped up after the last update. Open the apple messages app and there’s an App Store icon next to the text field. When you hit that, a row of app icons pop up under the text field. The monkey one will give you the list of characters. Pick ‘New Memoji’ to start the Memoji builder, then it will lead you through. I played with it for a long time, now I’m trying to figure out how to record videos with it!

The first time I hosted I put the comments out way ahead of time and this time I was more relaxed and took my time. I remember trying on an animal print blouse for Marla Maples. Ah, the early 90’s. Yes, these are my beautiful daughters. @justgivemeone oh, I get it. Yes, you usually get 100 picks max, the email after you confirm will tell you how many they want. You share your picks to the party as soon as it starts and they’ll go straight into the host pick showroom. After you share 100, anything else you share to the party will just go in the main party. They’ll give you guidelines on how many of your own items to pick and how many new poshers they’d like to see shared. It’s pretty cool how it works!

@michele1084461 wow, that’s great! I’ve hosted a brand party and had the same thought. What I did was go back to the last Outdoor party page and “assume” the brands are the same (they usually are). The day before the party when they post the invite for the actual party, you can double check to be certain. Hope this helps and congrats!
