liliasbags You should definitely give selling a go. Don't be afraid to make mistakes at first. You can't sell anything unless you list something. It looks like you are very active on the app already, so turn your time into $$$

One of the most surprising things I've found on Poshmark is how many strangers are willing to be kind and supportive to other strangers. I know a lot of people don't care for Poshmark's social aspect, but I like it a lot. I think it builds a strong community where we all strive for the best.

liliasbags @shoevenir After getting all the basics down with good photos, description, sharing your closet often, I found one thing that surprisingly boosted my sales was participating in share games. You share a lot and you represent the best of the best in Posh community. Would you like me to tag you on all of the games I'm participating in? They all generally work the same way.

liliasbags There is a host who picks a selection of poshers daily to be featured and shared by everyone who is playing. Some games have a lot of participants, so once you get to be featured, your feed gets flooded with shares. It can get time intensive, but if you are on Poshmark a lot already, what I found is that it makes sharing other people's closets meaningful. You get a high share back rate and a lot of those people have very many followers, which means your item will be in the feed of many people.

liliasbags @shoevenir In my opinion, managing your inventory turnover is very important. I'm here to get cash for my items. And the faster I get the cash, the better for me, because I can invest it or use it. I'm learning to price better and I really enjoy when I sell an item fast for a fair price. I track when I list things, so if something has been listed for a while, I need to rething the price. The optimal thing to do is to price at market rate to begin with, so your item can sell within a week.

liliasbags @shoevenir That's time saved later on, as you won't have to rethink how to sell the item. The higher price the item, the longer it will take to sell, though, just due to less customers shopping in that price range. You seem to be doing this all intuitively, which is very impressive for a new posher because people usually want too much $ for their things. I've done it, too.

I do keep an updated folder full of my Posh inventory and research rates from other markets. The only hit is the 20% from Posh, but considering that selling here is very much straightforward, it's worth it for me to sell here.

shoevenir @liliadiscount I do my best to consider if I would personally buy my product from a buyer's point of view. I keep account that the buyer's do have to pay shipping cost, so I try to accommodate my pricing accordingly. I feel so terrible for some of my first potential buyers. At first, I based my selling on profiles of users. BIG MISTAKE /: Still a learning process (:

liliasbags @shoevenir I couldn't agree more about the fee. On the one hand you really do see the chunk come out, especially when you sell something expensive. On the other, I absolutely love selling here. And most importantly I get traffic here. People see my items, people shop on Poshmark. It's not easy to capture an online clothing resale market, but Poshmark captures a very diverse and large group of shoppers.
