I would definitely take a prep course. I took Barbri, but I honestly think you can pass by taking any of the three major courses. It really all depends on how disciplined you are while studying. There are going to be times where you feel stupid and underprepared but just have faith in the process and your own abilities.

You also need an outlet to relieve stress: Don't forget your hobbies or things that bring you joy. I'm sure your son will be that outlet! I kept up with my exercise routine and would treat myself to an hour of television at night in order to decompress. The actual bar exam itself is not so bad. It flies by. It's really the stress leading up to the test that is the difficult part. I hope that helps!

@deedee0323 Thank you so much for the advice! I'm going to get signed up for the barbri course. Everyone has told me it is the best. That's a great idea about watching tv to relax every night. I would probably have studied in bed and made myself crazy haha. I wish I would have taken it right out of law school. The longer I wait, the more stressed I am about it! Thanks again for the advice! And I'm sure you will do great as well! Just treat it like a job. Barbri helps tremendously because they set your schedule for you, so it takes the guess work out of it. Definitely reach out to me with questions as you get closer to the date!
