Hi my loves! My name is Kirsten!
I’m a single mom with a teenage daughter. I just love her to pieces! She’s my best friend!
I’m gonna be transparent, vulnerable and share some of my story. I owned a wedding photography business for 10 years. My health and heart health issues returned in late 2018 after several major back to back traumatic experiences that happened on a personal, professional, financial and public level. One of the main traumatic experiences both my daughter and I went through. It all happened at the peak of my career, when I had worked so hard to get where I was in my wedding photography and cinematography business. Things got serious and scary, it was a matter of life and death. Being someone with a strong work ethic, and also needing to provide for my daughter, I stubbornly worked despite my health issues. I don’t have family that can help or support me, both my parents aren’t in my life. Long story short, I wasn’t able to work. So in 2019 I was forced to close my wedding photography business. It’s been a humbling process & blessing in disguise.
My daughter actually introduced me to online selling/reselling. Poshmark is an amazing community of people! Y’all are SO sweet, helpful and supportive! I try, but don’t always have the time or energy to express my gratitude, so I want to thank everyone for all the generous shares! Your help & support are beyond appreciated, especially as a single mom! Thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart!

I'm sorry but I have to say you are a beautiful and strong woman to put yourself out there and share that not to mention brave , but I too got sick 4yrs ago and got down to 90lbs and spent a month in icu. and scary to think but I was close to death, it's amazing what people can bounce back from . thanks again for sharing that.

@mattdonnell81 This is only 5% of the pain I’ve gone through in life. I see many people struggling in silence and I share my stories so people don’t feel so alone, to bring hope, encouragement and wisdom. It brought me to Poshmark and more importantly it brought me back to God. 🥹 It truly was all meant to happen the way it did! I ended up homeless, I lost everything, I’m still trying to get back on my feet in all honesty. My health still isn’t great, but it’s better..

I’m learning to accept it and to keep pushing forward with humbleness, positivity and gratitude. I love supporting others, and enjoy sharing peoples listings. I read your About section just a few minutes ago. You've really had a journey, love. I also had to stop working after 25 years as a Realtor® for health reasons as well and posh has given me an outlet to keep me busy and make some extra cash. Right now I am listing as many drafts as possible because I'm going to have a total ankle replacement and want to have the drafts ready to go when I'm stuck in bed. lol.

I’m actually doing the same with listing as much as possible because of a few things that came up unexpectedly- which is something I’m use to happening at this point in my life 🤪 I’m rolling with the punches and taking heed of the lessons I’m supposed to learn so I can gain wisdom. Back to back emergencies, urgent life changes AND I’ll be getting surgery soon too… wow!

My daughter is healthy, I have air in my lungs to breathe, food to eat, water to drink, a place to rest my head to sleep, a roof over my head instead of being homeless! I’m making friends on Poshmark that are GENUINE friends! Every “friend” I’ve had before meeting Poshmark friends & folks haven’t been real friends. I’m blessed 😇 Very grateful for Posh & for YOU!
