mtakata25 Share, share, share! Share your items, share other peoples items and share to parties. The more your items are out there and more eyeballs on it, the better chance the right person seeing it and purchasing. Also follow other poshers and return shares as much as possible.

haughtyharper Oh my gosh!! I can so relate to what you are saying! Good luck poshing and being a stay at home mommy! I use to laugh when people said it was the hardest job but it truly is! I left a job in which I made patient specific medications and it was such a breeze compared to all the jobs I have taken on as a mommy! But it's all worth it!

You are always nice! * First, is there a general "thread" where a newbie can ask Posh Ambassadors questions about selling? * Pricing. I started off trying to mark my Premier Jewelry items a little less than what I paid for them. Then I would lower prices, but some people want a really big discount off that. I tend to flip flop back and forth between trying to help out the buyer or getting a decent price for what I'm selling.

So, the buyer's original total was $65, with the 20% off it was $52, then PM fee would have taken out 20% and I would have only made $41. She started her bundle offering $40. Would that be before my discount or after? And then PM fee?

shelldawn65 @bringingupsuns Oh I'm not making sense. Thanks for letting me ramble. :-) I just don't know how to price my items. I don't know if I should try to get something fair for them, or just mark everything $15 to $20 and get what I can. The sales I have made I have really enjoyed writing a little note and wrapping things nice and sending it off to my buyer. Thanks again!

Unfortunately, there is no general thread where you can ask questions, but a good resource is to find some resellers on Instagram to benchmark. In response to offers made to you, yes you’re correct that whatever is offered and eventually sold, that price will then have the PM fees (and any shipping discounts if applicable) deducted from it.

bringingupsuns @shelldawn65 my suggestion in pricing is that you first research what similar items like yours have sold for (not listed but sold) and give yourself some negotiating room. Most people are looking to score a deal and don’t ever take low ball offers as an insult because of this very same reason (even if some offers are ridiculous).

bringingupsuns @shelldawn65 in the end, you should have an idea of what you’re comfortable selling your items for, include a mark up, and if things aren’t moving, either relist items to keep the listings fresh or rethink your list price. I hope this helps and feel free to reach out anytime.
