Hi y'all! My name is Nicole, I'm a displaced Texan (currently living in Utah), and I am a SAHM. I've been with my husband for fourteen years, and we have four kids. magmell @nfmcneff Awwww. What an adorable boxer! My sweet boxer guy, Gabriel, passed away a year and a half ago. Miss him sooooo much. He was a King Boxer. A genetic abnormality that occurs rarely in boxer puppies making them grow huge. 119 lbs and not overweight, just gigantic, but gentle as a lamb. Never so much as growled at another human or dog. A true gentleman 😘😘😍😍😉

dixiebella64 @nfmcneff Hi Nicole, I'm Gina. Your family is beautiful! I see that you have a Boxer!!! We are a huge Boxer family. One son has a black Boxer, one son has 2 brindle Boxers who are father & son, we have a fawn Boxer that's almost 1 yr old & a Jack Russell. We lost our 12 yr old fawn Boxer back in May 2015 & it devastated me. My current Boxer looks & acts so much like the one we lost but has brought so much joy back into our lives. Love meeting other animal lovers but especially Boxer lovers!

nfmcneff @dixiebella64 how nice to meet you! This is my first boxer and I have never been more in love! Mine is 6 and I dread the day I have to say goodbye. He means the world to me. I'm torn between adopting in the future and just owning boxers. I guess I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I also own a three legged border collie but he is so camera shy.

dixiebella64 @nfmcneff Well naturally I think Boxers are the best dogs in the world...amazing with children, as I'm sure you know. They've brought such joy to our family with all their goofiness & love. If you do decide to adopt in the future, there are tons of Boxer rescue groups out there. Also, check out a Facebook page called Boxer Dogs are for Life. I think you would enjoy it & it's very informative about tons of subjects. Another cute & funny site is Luke the Boxer, your kids would love it.

After you go through the teenage years, you begin to doubt whether that will happen, but it does and I was so grateful for it. The teen /preteen attitude is tough for sure. It’s like all of a sudden the child who did everything with a smile and wanted nothing more than to please you all of a sudden hits puberty and it changes. convintageous That it’s not only normal but absolutely necessary. They have to start to separate and find out who they are. In that process they become seemingly selfish and non compliant. Again, they have to be, it’s how they are able to succeed. These coming years are so integral and they need to be primarily focused on themselves. My daughter is a psych major & I learn so much from her about child development because she loves it.

Also, as they become more independent, I know you will have the opportunity to spend more time with your mother too🙂 your an awesome mom. That’s why your concerned. We worry a lot LOL
