I too am disabled and doing this as a past time but I also lost a alot of weight because of one of my health conditions. So I have clothes clothes clothes that need to go go go. My sense of humor is off the wall, the chain and down right weird at times. Mostly, my family gets it, because they have the crazy in them too, but sometimes, nope it's just me! Laughing all by myself, then they join because they think what the heck looks like fun I guess. Lol😉😁😃. The important thing is we laugh together as a family! Anyways, thanks for following me. I like to share...laughter, love and other ppls clothes! Didn't know the latter would become an obsession until I got on here. Who knew?!? Great family, great closet! Nice to meet you, & thanks for sharing your story! :) Kinda made me feel a little less alone, if that makes sense at all? :) I was always super active, athletic, etc.. but after my husband passed away in 07, my health took a complete nosedive. Meds caused me to gain over 100 lbs, and now I kind of do the yo-yo thing. Depends on which organ is jacked up at the time, and what med they're treating me with. My closet could easily pass as a retail shop! Lol ;) Add in my addictive personality + Internet availability + debit card = T.R.O.U.B.L.E.!! haha Damn those Facebook adds, getting me addicted to new places to shop!! 😉 👍 💸 Anyway, nice to meet you, & hopefully we'll meet up again!

healchno So sorry to hear of your husband's passing. I know people say this "I don't know what I would do". You are living proof that you have to "go on". I just can't imagine is a better descriptive sentence. You are never quite the same at going on you just go different. I am sorry. I came close to that in 2012 when my husband had a heartattack. Picture of perfect health. Then bam clot in the main artery out of no where. Even passed the stress echo and the treadmill.they sent him home and two hrs later he had it here at home. Cholesterol, bp everything fine. Found out his blood is just too thick. So you just never know. Yeah ur not alone. Mine is mostly congenital. Jacked up spine, they tried to fix it, I GUESS they did, kept me walking and out of a weelchair, but increased my pain tremendously. I have something wrong with my rib and stomach, can't eat. Hurts a bunch! So dropped 30ish lbs. Would prob be more but I force myself to eat. It turns out, it for some reason, they say is vital. LOL😉

soonerfanatic @healchno You're so right! You have to just keep going, no matter what life throws your way! It's soooo hard sometimes, and we will slip, but all you can do is try! The same thing that happened to your husband, happened to my Dad. He'd just had a cardiac workup, and got the all clear. The next week, he died of a massive heart attack, at the age of 42. Needless to say, I don't have too much faith in Dr's nowadays! They've messed me up more than they've helped me, unfortunately. I used to wear a sz 4. Now? Meds have put me into a 2x, and that's AFTER losing weight, once my stomach problems began! They kept me on a med that I had nasty adverse reactions to, never checked the levels of it in my blood, and now I'm looking at a possible liver transplant in a couple of years 😕 This particular med is well known for destroying livers. Wish I had known back then, what I know now! I'm so sorry that you have to deal with pain as well :( If you ever need to vent to someone, I'm here! We have the stomach AND back issues in common, so I understand, where some people....ummm...tend to give you the "mind over matter" speech? Wow that ticks me off!! Lol

soonerfanatic @bubblena Hey, I have a question, and really didn't want to put it on your page! I bought the ring set that you ordered, in my size. The black, with pink stones? I've only been able to wear it once, for a few hours, because I've been bedridden with the flu for 2 weeks now 😷😝 But the black is all coming off, after only that couple of hours :/ It left me with a black ring around my finger, and even some tiny "chips" of the black layer. I was under the impression that it was higher quality than that, so I was pretty shocked! I'm NOT asking for a refund, or trying to send it back. I just wondered what's going on? I had to take it off, due to metal allergies, so could you please explain to me what it's made of again? And, if this is normal? It's just a silver color underneath, and I didn't do anything to it. I was laying in bed sick, and was dying to wear it, so I literally just laid in bed with it on. I don't understand why it's breaking down so fast. Most likely, I'll be unable to wear it now 😢 I just need to know what it's made up of. Being diabetic, AND having severe metal allergies is bad news for me. I have nerve damage in my hands, and the allergic reaction to certain metals is so bad, that I develop wounds VERY quickly! Luckily I noticed before it got bad, because I noticed the black stuff on my finger first. Whew!

bubblena @soonerfanatic OMG! it shouldn't be doing that! My sister has one and hasn't had any issues with it at all. It says its 10kt black gold filled. So its only layered with the black gold. But it shouldn't be coming off like that. Even with sterling silver or gold some Will Sterling Silver Ring Turn My Finger Green??? IF My finger turns GREEN from wearing Sterling Silver or gold plated ring does that mean that It is not Sterling silver or gold??? No that is not True Silver and gold are Beautiful, however pure silver is too soft and can easily scratch and become damaged, so it is alloyed with copper to make Sterling Silver (92.5% silver+7.5% copper). this is how we get the mark 925 for sterling silver or its layered with gold. Don't panic, This "green finger effect" is a reaction to the copper alloy in the sterling silver specially if you have high body acidity . It happens to about 2~3% of people and percentage is increasing due to increased percentages of chemicals in our environment and food we eat. Most retail jewelry is industrial plated with rhodium (rhodium is a form or platinum), which prevents this reaction from happening to anyone with the allergy. Not all silver rings are plated specially the antique look and oxidized rings since it will change their look. Soaking the ring for a day or two in a 50/50 mixture of household ammonia and water will take care of the problem. Another solution is to simply clean the ring every day with a silver polishing cloth . After about a week or two, the reaction will stop occurring Also applying a thin layer of clear nail polish on the inside of the ring will prevent perspiration & body sweat from reaching the metal and reacting to it. Keep your skin dry when wearing jewelry. Keep your jewelry clean. If the piece begins to tarnish, clean it immediately. some times these reactions are occasional and happens when someone eat something that has high acidity like tomatoes or if someone is taking certain medications or due to Excitement.✸✸

However, in rare instances of extreme sulfide exposure the gold-filled can blacken. This has only occurred a handful of times over our decades of gold-filled use. Foreign transit through extremely polluted shipping docks in a few countries has caused the product to blacken on several occasions. The only domestic cases we have had were products stored in nail salons with high levels of chemical sulfide fumes and due to a fire where the structure was filled with smoke and all the gold-filled in the building turned black. These are extreme conditions that are unlikely to happen to most end users. However, it has made me think twice about breathing the air in nail salons. Usually, gold filled just requires light surface cleaning with an untreated cloth or mild soapy water. Gold-filled is a reasonably priced, quality alternative to solid gold. Most gold-filled items are made in the USA.

But for some reason, the black gold coating is coming off. It turned my finger black, not green, and I didn't even have other jewelry on that could have rubbed on it, so I'm positively stumped! Lol

Then after graduation, married my high school sweetheart, and had baby #1 a year later. 5 pregnancies total! Oy! And then I ended up sick, and medication caused me to put on just over 100 pounds. I'm off of the meds, and gradually losing weight, but I'll def never be the same. But..I'm ok with that ;)

Sorry to hear about your loss (I lost my dad nearly two years ago to pancreatic cancer, watching him suffer was awful), and am not in a deep illness but have been on bed rest from August till 2 weeks ago, so I know what u mean about passing time, props to you for being a mom and being selfless. It was very difficult growing up without a father most of my life but it helped make me stronger and it helped my mom and I become closer likr you and your kids. My mom is my best friend. We are both total opposites in many ways but in many ways I'm her clone lol.

My friends gave me some of my barn cats BC the cats were in bad situations and all my other ones came from the animal shelters we worked at.
