I kid you not when I say there is a noticeable vertical scratch on the front bottom black square (in the middle of the white stripes) that goes the entire length of that square. I cannot spot it on your pics. Maybe during packing or even storing? After all we both said I have to believe you did not know about it. If you want a pic of it I can certainly do that.

annmoran888 @mylastwords65 seriously 🤦‍♀️, I believe you but I purposely checked it even after I checked it. With the way I wrapped it I can’t see shipping doing anything. Please send it back you have had enough disappointments. What color is the scratch? Can it be fixed with black fabric marker. That is how I fix my own scratches or faded parts on my purses. I can’t see anything in picture but let me know what you want to do. So sorry I looked everywhere

I took some items off a couple months ago maybe and then I left 3 designer handbags and no one bought them. I wasn't going to just give them away for nothing (the D&B was finally down to $18 + disc ship and a lady kept seeing if I would give her an offer-unbelievable!). I had to stop selling bc of all the $ numbers/tracking/reporting to IRS being a pain.

mylastwords65 @stainedglassoul All income earned is to be reported. Popular sites started issuing tax docs to sellers and didn’t even clearly tell them they have to find it on their site and claim on their taxes. IRS obviously gets it too.

mylastwords65 @stainedglassoul They’re cracking down on the tons of ppl making money selling stuff. It does not need to be new. It counts for every single item new, used, gifted, etc. You need to provide amount paid for it even if it was a gift 30 years ago, price you sold it for, profit or loss amount, etc.

mylastwords65 @stainedglassoul We both worked at HR Block but not Tax Pros. We found out the hard way. You have to provide supporting doc’s for sales totaling $1000 or thereabouts. If under, you should keep doc in your files in case IRS decides to audit you. You have to report any and all income regardless.

mylastwords65 @stainedglassoul Poshmark doesn’t issue any tax forms yet, but can start at any time of the year and boom - surprise. Look it up on irs.gov or any tax site or google it. I think most ppl are not reporting their income and it might catch up to them one day. Especially if it’s on a public selling site showing your sales you can’t delete. Taxes are aggravating to say the least!

mylastwords65 @stainedglassoul Hi, no worries! Stopped selling last year bc not only state, but now the fed gov wants their share too. They lowered the net amount from 20K to $600 NET (not gross) and ALL sites must report your earnings to the IRS. Sellers will receive 1099-K at tax time. I saw Poshmark finally posted about it. We had a couple ppl call up H&R B freaking out and one was in tears bc they sold on Poshmark. Just keep good records. Good luck and happy selling!

mylastwords65 @stainedglassoul I hear you. I was thinning out my closet and things I didn’t need or want the replacing them with stuff from here. Recycling! You can earn any amount anywhere, you just need to keep complex records. Income is income. Audits are often random. Google to find out what/how you need to track. Doing taxes will no longer be simple. Being taxed on things we already paid taxes on is where I really get mad.
