4_trendy_kids Please don't give up, I know it can be torturous sometimes, but I'm sure it will grow. I'd suggest you write to posh and suggest they create a party to share men's items. Kids have a party as well as women, but there is not one for men. I think that would help grown your market! You have nice cover shots and great items. So you have half the way covered.😊 keep it up and good luck!

Also, thank you I do put a lot of thought into what goes into my closet and in getting good quality photos. I find myself opening the app constantly, it is addicting. Lol. I actually asked posh about a men's party a week or so ago and they immediately set one up. Good news there is another one set for tomorrow at 7pm!

besthombre @sarberk Hey Kieth, thanks for the shares and yes, I would definitely start the title with the brand and add New or NWT in front of the brand if it has the tags. Make sure to take as many photos as you can, I try to take up all 4 photo slots. There is a bit of patience required.

besthombre @sarberk This is a social community, so your goal is to get hundreds of thousands of people to see it, sharing other people's items is good, they have different people following them and when they also share your item it is going to be in front of a completely new audience. So, sharing is a great thing. Keep doing it. Be patient, it takes some time before hitting your tipping point for sales. Just keep adding quality items, keep sharing and following good closets. It takes time.

besthombre @sarberk It depends. You will start to know those users who actively share. However, I still follow people who have things that I like our that people I know would like for gift reasons. I also follow people who wear the same size clothing as me, those are potential buyers and I may be able to get something too.

sarberk Hiya, how are sales? I ask because it has been dead for me lately. 11 days since my last order. Trying to change up my sharing, 3-4 items versus entire closet. Also, stopped pushing "likes" to make an offer.

besthombre @sarberk Its been going well. But there is always room for improvement. Definitely not into pushing anyone who likes my listing. A like is more of a bookmark, which probably means that they are not ready to purchase, but would like it once they are ready financially. I would definitely invest in some better lighting, it makes the world of difference.

besthombre @sarberk That said, its about inventory management. As you sell, you have less on hand inventory. Which means that you are only reaching those who might be interested in your existing inventory, say x number of people. Previously, before you sold everything, you were reaching Y number of people and Y > X. I heard a great retail CEO once say, that for each sale you should reinvest 50% in new inventory to stay relevant.

besthombre @julieldavis Thank you! I hope he likes my style! I love those Alden shoes, but just bought a pair of Salvatore Ferragamo Tramezza penny loafers or I would have jumped on those. Also, I wonder if these are UK sizing, which may be why they were too big for him. Basically UK sizes are actually a full size larger than they say. So of its a UK 11 = US12. Just good for thought.

Also, when I started I thought that I would only be a seller, then things I wanted would pop up in my feed and I just had to have them. Now I'm quite a few purchases in myself, it gets addicting! I myself, before poshmark, would keep at least 20-30 pairs in rotation and rarely paid full price unless I fell in love with the shoe (happened more than I'd like to admit). You can browse through my sold listings and see which kind of photos have sold best for me in men's shoes.

besthombre @xtinascottsdale Low ball offers - People always want a deal, so I take no offense to low initial offers, I simply counter with what I believe is reasonable, it is when they insist on countering with the same low offer that it becomes unreasonable. There will always be people out there who want to get the best deal possible. IF they didn't start low, and if you accept their offer, then they will always wonder whether or not they could have gotten a better deal.

When sharing to a Posh Party, you are sharing the listings with users currently viewing the party page and not your followers. When an item is shared to a party it is shared only once even if there are multiple users sharing the listing. This does not refresh the listings place within the party. We hope this helps clarify any confusion!"
