Ok, I'm finally doing this! I'm Marta, and I live in our nation's capital with my husband of 9 years and our 9-year-old shihpoo Gracie! I'm a bit of a clothes horse, and I love using Posh to find my "shopping regrets" (aka the opposite of buyer's remorse - when I didn't buy something and then it sells out!). @booosh one of my best friends took that pic! it's one of my favorites of all time! But it's easier to look fab when you have a spray tan and a blowout! You are so nice... I really appreciate the compliments. DC is such a great place to live... I definitely think I could be here a long time! nice that so many of the museums are free, because the food is definitely not!! :)

@therealmarta hahaha!-- the whole cost of living there is CRAZY! I have some friends who live there, and every time we visit, I am stunned by some of the costs-- their apartment for instance... I'm actually coming down there in the first half of June, and I can't wait! For real, all I do is walk around and stare at stuff-- the Library of Congress is a good example that most people don't think of off hand.
I am not ashamed to say that I have stood in Whistler's Peacock Room at the Freer for over an hour. :)

@laysjay definitely they do! She's a minipoodle shihtzu mix, but every time I see apricot toy poodles, I think they look just like her! love DC - been here 6 years now! Lots of friends / fam who went to Michigan for undergrad or grad school - good place for an MBA :)

I can't wait to get my stuff! I am in DC periodically for work - about every two months or so. Such a GREAT City!! I never get to enjoy it much as it's usually all day meetings and then go home...but I keep saying sometime I'm going to get my husband to join me and we are going to stay the weekend and actually enjoy it. But I think DC has some of the most fabulous restaurants. Living in Kansas City it is almost all chains...blah. Founding Farmers is one of my favs!

I haven't been to Founding Farmers in ages - but now you have me thinking about it.... We always get new, exciting places so it's almost hard to eat somewhere twice! Not a bad problem to have... :)

Pretty family & super cute pup! I have an half Maltese, half Shi tzu little boy. Shea is about 5yrs old. I would show him off, but my baby girl (my daughter, who is 6 1/2, now!!!) gets quite a bit more attention, understandably!! Her pic is in my "Meet your Seller" post! But your little pup is adorable & I'm sure he is your baby!
