@ldmtreasures Iβve also accidentally sent a jewelry piece out to someone and they found a flaw too that I missed before and felt terrible. But I think in this case it was just that the package was handled roughly so it loosened and it could happen to anyone.

Iβve had to let another new seller know they didnβt tape the shipping label well and it almost fell off, plus in Manila envelope with a hole.

I will try to fit everything here. In my thank you card, I usually ask the buyer to leave me a love note. If they donβt I used to write them in my posting asking them to do that. People are usually nice enough to write something. Itβs a little tough lately so I just write, thank you for the 5 star rating.

It will also help to explain to the buyer, leaving a love note is like building their purchase history and it will allow future sellers to see their reputation and purchase power and help in negotiation process. I always look at peopleβs purchase history to determine their demeanor, buying power and it does help a lot. I hope I answer your question:)

@glaminthecity One of the most negative experiences Iβve/ weβve (my best friend also sells some of her handmade jewelry and items here with me) had on this app in spite of great customer service and communication before the purchase. We went out of our way to make it right after they didnβt like the color but they decided to keep the item and the low rating instead of attempting a return. π

@glaminthecity The other negative experiences that I canβt forget were two separate purchases where I received a very soiled smoky items a purse and shoes (where I couldnβt get the smoke smell or dirt out) and one came with a free gift of a smoky paperback novel too. π€’ I do buyer history is very important and I do find I have to check not only love notes but the comments on items sold. Thank you again for being a posh mentor and your advice. π Sorry you had to hear my hard luck stories.

@rescuelady3 Awh thanks a lot. It does suck having an invisible illness for sure. Iβm working part time now and my body is doing a lot better. I still have bad days but keeping up with PT exercises helps keep pain and stiffness away. I found Doc Jen Fit a PT doctor on Instagram and Iβm doing her mobility course.

@jewelska π every Friday is $4.99 shipping on anything courtesy of Poshmark, they pay the shippingdifference, the seller has to apply it. Sometimes Poshmark extends the deal through the weekend. It's the offer I try to take advantage of but it requires changing prices for me so it gets applied.

@jewelska Yes, look out for the "closet clear out drop prices" notification and it's when if you drop the price 10% then Poshmark applies the $4.99 and all heaters are notified, it's all day Friday, look for it in your notifications, sometimes you have to refresh about 5 times to see it.
The other way is you dropping the price and also, you chose a shipping discount too notification and Poshmark enters you on a giveaway but that comes out of your pocket.

@jewelska What I normally do if someone is interested in the shipping discount, I'll make them a copy listing with 10% higher and after they β€it I'll drop the 10% so Poshmark applies the $4.99 shipping and it helps both the seller and the buyer and I'm sure Poshmark too π

@jewelska I ask likers if they're interested so I don't reduce and send the offer in vain and no one takes the deal then later have to make copies like I've been lately π it's cause you can't up the price how it was once you've done the 10% and try to do it again raising the price it'll discount from the lowest historic price so it's not going to work if you know what I mean.
you'll have to make a copy listing to get the price you want

It is better to make a copy and if people like it, ask if they're interested in the discount because once it's discounted it can't be done again, so it's better they are committed in buying to send them the offer
