Meet the Posher - A Lil' Bout Me & My Shop

Hey! welcome to my closet ✨ My name is Emily, I am a full time clothing reseller shipping from CA. I have alopecia areata and long-story-short, struggle with that oh so fun imposter syndrome; worrying that i'm wearing a "costume”, under the wig, the clothes, behind the makeup...etc. I love fashion & beauty, and especially the culture of shopping (when its wholesome and we're not fighting each other over a shoe). I'm having to actively learn how to accept myself and enjoy such things for fun, self care, & self expression, with humility-- not to hide or pretend. When i was little, i was always playing dress up with our large bin full of random accumulated dress up clothes; putting together ensembles of whatever i was feeling that day… Lets face it, when we were little we played dress up, and we really just never stopped; ergo the name "thedressupbin" . Jokes aside, just remember that it didn't matter how we were without the cool dress up clothes, and it still doesn't. The fairy wings are now highlighter, the tutu is a midi skirt, and the cowboy boots are-- actually still cowboy boots. ~ Em @TheDressUpBin
