nanzerrs @sam_leslie94 I actually have a question that you may know the answer too! once I send an item, how do I know it won't be taken and the payment cancelled? I don't want to send things and end up having them stolen. I know the buyer has to release the payment once they receive the item, but what if they don't release it and end up keeping my item? does that happen often?

samnl94 @nanzerrs That's a good question! As far as that goes, when the item is purchased, tracking is automatically added. So the tracking is updated constantly. When the buyer receives the item, both you and her will receive an update. It's up to her to accept the item. If she doesn't accept the item within 2 days, it ends in your favor. The item gets marked as received & your payment gets released to you.

samnl94 The only reason it may not is of the buyer marks that there's an issue such as the item is damaged, or if the item has an issue. This almost never happens. Poshmark is an amazing community! I've had one issue but it was with my mom selling, and it was with a dishonest buyer. Posh realized my mom was honest and ruled against the buyer, letting my mom keep the money. I've never had an issue as a seller in my 3 years of being a posher 😊
