mnakawatase Hi Grace: I put a couple of pictures of the earrings with tape measures so you can see the exact size. I tried to line it up at the two inch mark and think it measures close to the 1/4 inch mark, but might run 1/8th or 2/8th inch wider. The stone is clear and the setting is gold colored. The earrings are not flat, but the gold circular piece that holds the stone is about 1/4 inches deep. I hope this helps. If you have other questions, please let me know. Thank you for your interest.
