them Tauruses can be a bit unstable sometimes! You’re an angel for seeing the friendship through! From my understanding, Avon later became meet mark right? I ask because my cousin actually had a pretty successful run selling Mary Kay products in China but now she has 3 kids so she stopped the makeup consultant business! I remember my best friend had showed the brochure to me and marked about 75% of the catalog but she got me a $50 old navy card for Christmas which I shared with my sister so when her bday arrived 17 days after mine and she was obsessed with the boys of meteor garden, I bought her posters or cds because she was older than me and lots of pressure to attend her party where she would be serving frogs🤢

and my mother didn’t love our friendship so I had to pretend I was either at school or with someone else. I was unfortunately voted president in student politics one year so there were lots of errands i didn’t expect and it’s tough keeping touch with all my friends and their recent endeavors but you are sweet for trying!

@pegasus27 very interesting! Thanks for sharing your story of how you became an Avon consultant! I think it was an interesting job for my friend but then she got in a lot of trouble with her mom because it didn’t fit her business and the future of their company so that’s why she choose to run away to nyc and work other odd jobs and we met later but I feel we had changed in interests and personality.

I was concerned that some of the products she was ordering for her mom or whomever was too expensive so I actually didn’t think it was the right gig for her immediately but I have lots of interesting friends and another profile on here mentioned her mom sells Avon products as well! Glad the company is alive and well today even though I believe they tried to masculinize it for a few years and make make products called meet mark! So happy you two are still friends!

@pegasus27 I’m not a big makeup person because I fell in love with chemistry and I heard from my chemically inclined friends that the beauty industry still uses SLS as a surfactant and lots of my friends in chemistry believe this product to be dangerous but companies like the body shop and lush will sometimes still use it to cut costs:(

We had a line called mark with it's own brochure for awhile,it was geared toward the "younger generation",it did well & then suddenly sales dropped off & they discontinued it

I love pegasuses ever since a jewelry maker I met called dsk jewelry started making very expensive jewelry! Hopefully you find something you like for yourself on this app! Happy Saturday, Janet!
