I do love the Bay Area as well. New Orleans is a super awesome town too. My high school took a bus trip all the way from NorCal to NOLA my senior year and I loved the energy of it! @ridinghood13

miaowza I just made a bundle and could add more... Anything in my closet that piques your interest? Please don't worry about prices on my end. The piece I'm wild about is the mesh top. There are only a couple obvious off limits pieces ( de la renta, herrera) ... Let me know either way. I've got over five great trades and love that way of recycling with fellow fashionista. mayasommer @gypsyeden thank you girlie!!! It's actually a big chunky scarf that I found at a thrift store. It happens to be like exactly the same knit as the sweater I'm wearing in that pic so I wear them together and they look like one piece. But I'm a big fan of big scarves as hoods anyway. :-)

gypsyeden I've been doing the same thing with oversized scarves. I saw this girl with a white oversized men's wear looking vest that had this hood on it that was coming from the lapels. I can't really explain it but it was all in a silk material and gorgeous! I have an obsession for anything hooded

gypsyeden My hair has always been extremely short I'm trying to grow it out and is driving me insane! It has just gotten a few inches above my shoulders and I'm bout to go have it cut off. When it was short I could just cut it myself. It was so easy

mayasommer @gypsyeden ahh I feel you. I've thought about growing it out a few times and always end up just going and getting it cut... Just did that yesterday. I've never tried cutting it myself. I probably should. Seems like a waste to spend $30+ on a haircut for such short hair. Not much to lose if I f*ck it up. Haha

remdec21 You burn calories just getting your hiney onto the stage, that's for sure!😜 I'm not quite sure what being a body double would entail, maybe Google "movie body doubles"? There are actors who aren't particularly in love with certain aspects of their body and their doubles come in during that scene for a flawless look on film. I just see you doing that. Find a Wilhelmina, Elite or Ford Agency in your area (biggest names that come to mind). Check their websites for an "open call".

josephiner Hmm I looked at your IG and noticed the link up top... curious; how do you like depop compared to this? I'd never heard of it before but started selling some things elsewhere after a couple months here. What do you study at UCLA? (I'm a former banana slug and then went to the school of the art institute for grad school!)

mayasommer @josephiner I have had a lot of luck on Depop but definitely think the tricks to success there are having items that fit the aesthetic of the community (which you can see by visiting the explorer page on the app), and having enough stuff or an ongoing source of stuff that you can post continuously because there's no sharing like on Poshmark.

mayasommer I do think there are more serious buyers on Depop even though it's a smaller community. I've been able to make it my full time job which is kinda crazy since most people have ever heard of it! I study Art at UCLA. They actually don't break the visual arts down into media, but have the students study all the disciplines they offer. I'll only be here two years to finish the BA that I started at Bard in upstate NY. About to start my senior year in a few weeks. :) @josephiner
