mtn_soul I love your pictures!! I've been out to the PNW for a couple mountaineering trips, and it's breathtakingly beautiful. I nearly missed my flight out of Seattle because I couldn't take my eyes off a majestic sunset over Rainier! Lol! True story :) The next time I get out there, I'd love to explore the Olympics and the San Juan islands. Peace, love and adventure on!

We had a long hair German Shepherd for many years - such a loyal and smart loveable oaf. :) Kumquats are small orange fruits about the size of a large olive - You eat them whole and have a sweet rind and a sour inside. The name of my closet was inspired by that idea - life is both sweet and sour (bitter/sweet).

These particular ones are from a tulip farm in WA north of Seattle - the Skagit area is known for gorgeous tulip fields and displays in April/May. I make the trip there every year - beautiful color and makes for great family photos. :)
