My friend’s a FP fiend & during a few years when she had some money she went on rampages and bought everything & then got really upset when things stopped fitting when she became pregnant-

caityschmaity @raghagvintage except for a few items now, but I have every last FP thing, mostly all is in storage in wardrobe boxes while I move & I go find more stuff when my supplies run low- sorry, shutting up now. How did you keep track and find the fancy ads for everything? I even want to get something but VINTAGE vintage is my first love & I have even MORE of that!

caityschmaity @raghagvintage um. Saying hello I think? Also there’s a lot about FP I don’t know (I even wear mostly vintage) and never thought about the craze until I was trying to shame myself into posting it all and put the pic of the Mess up! Do you have any advice? I do a lot to restore the stuff that’s had a tougher time (though I also have NWT I can’t seem to find atm), like the sweater I noticed had a hole when I was putting it up- I’m gonna fix it rather than lower to $5...

caityschmaity @raghagvintage SO- the consignment store woman pointed out what a pain it is to take things from people bc everyone thinks they’re stuff is too precious, & I have a hard time seeing FP or anything 90s as vintage (maaaybe Contempo Casuals!) though I KNOW... I don’t wanna be a pain but I have a lot of questions and lots more stuff to post! Would it bug you if I asked you about presentation, etc? I have nooooo idea!

caityschmaity @raghagvintage PS- when I said “I even want to get something!” I meant from you! I saw the black velvet vintage dress and can’t believe you can really sell it for $15 or however much. I’m basing my prices, also, on the amount of work it takes to get them, soak them, sew buttons, etc. Oh & IRON! I’m not a champion at that but I always IRON!

trndyclssyfunky I too am nuts about fabric. When my husband goes with me shopping which is only occasionally I walk around and I touch everything because I have to have that specific fabric feel before I’ll even consider purchasing something. So he makes big jokes now when we go places he starts touching all their items and sometimes I look at him and I say dint touch that it’s icky!!
