bloomviolet85 @oleskak I just removed two plastic bags (one from each boot) that were wrapped around the inner layer (between the inner layer and the outer layer) of the boots. I had to remove the entire inner layers to get them out and then put the inner layers back into the boots. The boots have no sound now.
