zanityzen @angieintx can I use the photo of the item from the original retail website directly? Also, when someone ask me to hold and email them with more information, how do I hold an item or what is the protocol and guideline?

angieintx @zanityzen Stock photos can be used (unless they complain) but you need to list actual photos of the item you are selling as well. If someone asks you to hold an item & email info to them...it sounds like they are trying to do a deal off Poshmark. I don’t this & advise you don’t as well. If someone is interested in an item you are selling they can make an offer if they are really interested. Don’t give anyone your personal email & ignore anyone trying to do business off the Poshmark platform.

zanityzen @angieintx I realized it was a scam and have blocked them. However they did get my email. Is there a place I can report this individual so Poshmark could block them. Kids scary fro a brand new person - such as my self, that our first listing resulted in someone trying to scam me.

angieintx @zanityzen when you go to that persons Poshmark account, the 3 dots in the upper hand corner, click on that..right below “block user” there is “report user”. You should be able to report them to Poshmark there.

angieintx @zanityzen That’s how the Poshmark community works. We share others items & they in return share yours. That way when they share your item the people following their closet see your item. Just a way to have your item more visible. Follow people & they will follow you. Share & they will share. Lots of good info on YouTube: check out these people: Nicole State & The Thrifty Flamingo.
