@girlygirlbecky yay! Congrats! I’ve been doing this for about 6 weeks! I love it! Made posh ambassador after 3 weeks because I’m so addicted!! My advice would be to check sold comps so you know how to price things or if they’re worth picking up thrifted (unclick your selected size under filters after you search) and follow the 30 minute algorithm method (google it), it’s been working for me!! @girlygirlbecky omgosh hun, people following you is a GOOD thing! The more followers you have the more sales you will get. Every time you share one of your listings (or any listing for that matter) it goes into the news feeds of all your followers! So the more followers you have, the more people seeing your items. Also when u share other peoples listings, they usually will share yours back! Free advertising basically!

@girlygirlbecky congrats on your first sale! You should receive an email confirming the sale with a shipping label attached. Print that out, package your item with care, then slap that label on and get it out as soon as you can so your customer doesn't have to wait too long! Don't worry about followers - they are a good thing here. Poshmark is a social sales platform, so connecting to people is part of the game here.

@girlygirlbecky Please know Poshmark has over 3 million members. I would say a high percentage are sellers/buyers. A low percentage are scammers & those who look only. In any case, That's a lot of eyeballs‼️ Standing out from the crowd is very important. Having followers is important...if you didn't have them, to whom would you sell❓Sharing items from the Closets you have at your disposal is the NAME of the GAME. Many will follow back & share yours, giving you exposure. YAY‼️

@girlygirlbecky To share to a themed party, (tops or skirts, coats, etc.) select an item from your closet you know, click on it. go to upper right corner where the little horiz. & vertical lines are. Click on that. You have the option to send to your followers OR a themed event. Chose, then your item is sent! Since you have a lot of followers, you have the ‘power’ to share your stuff with people.

We know what you mean about the app. I find that it is alot of work to click on each item to post alot of time consuming..There should one click and all items appear..We started in April but we still don't know whole app..We do what we know and it's working.. @digitalsandy You always tell it to me straight, so you're my "go-to" Posh Sister.Complaints that my items, because all pictures are from the website and must be in bad shape. But I PURCHASED my "starting out" closet until I add my own items when I'm more established. I added "all items are brand new" on my front page. I would think that would be sufficient? Should I put a picture of the new cloths actually IN THE BAGS (because no one wants to smell what I had for dinner) and leave it at that?

@girlygirlbecky It is always a good idea to put your Nicely folded clothes in bags. I buy mine from Amazon. Your photos look nice, but more photos are even better. NWOT means new, without tags. I like to put that at the beginning of the listing. NWT is new, with tags. For clarity, Imusually use one or the other at the description beginning. ❣ Your PFF (Poshmark friend forever)

But definitely will make back to the top of the mountain. Still remember an outcropping such as the one your on in the pic, just sitting there and the clouds were below me. my head was clear my soul complete.

Hey girl. How’s it going? Finally had a sale this weekend. Didn’t make a lot but was able to move a few golf shirts. I’m confused about Closet Clear Out. They say to mark your items down 10 percent to likers and they will email them and also give a shipping discount. When I do that and a buyer bundles my item when I make an offer to close the deal PM says I have to offer a discount. Sooo I’m confused as to when I mark down

@kathy_ks_kloset Hi my friend! I have a differing opinion on this topic. Like I told you before, don't count on PM doing anything FOR you. To make it short, we work for THEM in essence. This is MY opinion: I pay NO attention to when THEY tell me to mark-down. Its my closet and I will mark-down when I feel like it. Online says 73% of Seller's say that the CCO does nothing. I DO have an answer for you that will clear up the confusion but getting better WiFi installed but will get back you!

@kathy_ks_kloset Article re Closet Clearout: The Shipping discount during closet clear out is completely separate from ‘offer to likers.’ You do not want to use ‘offer to likers’ during closet clear out if you want Poshmark to cover the shipping discount. You want to do the public price drop instead, which lowers the listing price and thus triggers the shipping discount covered by Poshmark. You must lower by at least 10%.

@girlygirlbecky I appreciate you’re help and I understand the difference between the two but this weekend I lowered the price according to CCO and my buyer put it in his bundle. When I went to complete the sale I got a pop up that said I needed to offer a discount but I already had discounted the required 10 percent. I’m over CCO. page 2! I can only type 500 strokes! I was so excited I made my first sale on a diamond ring well his response was he doesn't believe it is 14 karat but he cannot tell he thinks it's only 10 carat so I accepted his return and apologized. today I get the return I open the box and the box I sent it to was also returned and lo and behold there is no ring in there. I am shocked I damn near fell over. what is your advice at this point I am scared to death, any more items.

@digitalsandy Hi Sandy, quick question, if you go through all the right channels to ship a ring, say, something big $$ and they get it and are not happy (so they say) and want to send it back but they send back the box, no ring....we have protection for that, don't we?

Becky have you ever heard of this happening before? I am so naive at selling products online that I fall into traps obviously! I texted this guy and he was still in denial. now I am so afraid to sell any type of jewelry at this point. posh did indicate that they did hey me for the ring my response to them was that my concern was that he will do the same thing to me to others. is there any way possible that we can let other sellers beware of this person?

hey Becky I'm confused when I sold that ring my earnings indicated I would receive $132 well I kept it in there just to kind of utilize it as a savings account but now they've only given me $86. why is this happening to me? I'm getting ready to post many more items but now I'm concerned.

@jcjones46 I didn't hear when CA was mandated to wear them but we've been "under law" to wear them for the last 3 months! You can't go into a business without one. No shoes, No shirt, No mask....No service. REALLY! It becomes second nature. Day camps? No one even does that here. Anywhoo, when you get your masks up (you obviously sew), let me know! I have 7 but need yellow! Might as well accessories!
