@christinac_co hi there! Any tips or advice on how to join posh parties or get my listings out there more? I am hoping that some of my listings will sell but I am not sure how to best share them other than with my followers. Thank you so much!

@katieee_pal hi! Parties are easy to share to, at different times throughout the day there are different themed parties and instead of sharing your listing to your followers, share to the party that the item fits in. So say if it’s a sweater party at noon, I’ll still share all my listings, but when I get to a sweater, I’ll also share it to the party. The night one is open to all categories, so you can share all your listings

@katieee_pal I usually only share to my followers though, because that bumps your listings up in search results. I don’t know if I’ve had someone purchase from a party. It could happen, but your best just sharing to followers 3x a day so your item is fresh in the feed. You can also do targeted followers. Search for an item you have, filter to sold and follow everyone who has liked that item, and hope it brings them to your item. Just don’t comment saying you have the same item 😜

@katieee_pal I started seeing consistent sales when I had over 200 listings. It takes a while to get there! And a lot of work. There is close to 50 million users on Poshmark and most are sellers, so you’re competing in a big market. It’s best to have a really great title, something a buyer would search for. Ex: {Brand Name} Blue Long Sleeve V Neck Mini Dress. And not “cute short dress” because buyers don’t search that way.

@katieee_pal Have a detailed listing, so less questions and thinking is involved for buyers. List any and all flaws. Measurements are huge. And lastly, have consistent photos that show every angle. Hang items on a white wall or lay on a blanket. Use your phones 1:1 camera ratio so you don’t have to crop, try to use all photo slots and include pictures of all tags. I know that sounds like a lot, but it’s easy to get the hang of it! Good luck! If you have any more questions, just ask!
