Hello! DressedUpCat, here….. thanks for visiting my Closet! You’ll find classic, and some more “edgy”, pieces I just love along with some of my own “fashion RE-fashioned” pieces: “dressed up” bags, jewelry, denim jackets and more. If you are a social dancer you’ll find some tango skirts and shoes. I’m in my 3rd year as a Posh seller. And the last pic? THAT is an example of why I’m a 5-Star rated Posh Ambassador and mentor. So, it’s DressedUpCat…then what’s with the dogs?? Well any sensible cat knows life is a team project. And corgis have GREAT fashion sense. Pepper the Beauty Queen (our groomer has a HUGE sense of humor) was the last of 4 corgis (my 2nd senior rescue) in a long, long line of critters I’ve loved. (She just crossed the Rainbow Bridge 3/16/24, & I miss her style advice so much…). I’m also particularly partial to flying pigs. Ok ok, there’s been a few humans in there, too. I adore them all. Brands? Lots. Ralph Lauren, Anthropologie, Desigual, Johnny Was, Free People, Pendleton and some standards: Escada, anything Karl (Chanel, Dior, Fendi….), and…..(to be continued!). And we never forget this: “A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle.” — James Keller Go light a couple candles. Happy Poshing! 😽😽😽 Note: Dogs are real—All the cats are AI generated! I received a notification that they were delivered yesterday but hadn’t been accepted and it makes me worry due to an item that I had shipped being delivered and taken before the buyer got home to get it. Now I automatically think the worst when an item is delivered and not accepted.

denimandiamonds I was just wondering how this comes to be. I have had, & still do have some truly fabulous pieces in my closet, especially in jewelry & home items. In 2 years, I have had only one “Host Pick “, & I had to contact the hosts of that party( & only one responded.) The item she chose actually sold in that party. Is there something I’m missing? Lol, I would truly appreciate if you would share with me the proper way in which to have my pieces noticed?

They are one of a kind jewel embellished throw pillows. I have not listed them on Poshmark, as they sell for from $150. to $300. Any advice?

On the host picks, I reach out to all the hosts where I have items fitting the theme. The host will often put a party announcement in their Closet. I will comment there, saying congrats, I have eligible items, that I’m sharing from their closet and that I wish them success with the party. Then I will share 5-10 random things from their closet.

dressedupcat Part 2. My goal is to a) get their attention & b) give them incentive to look at your Closet. If they don’t have an announcement posted, I will just share 10-12 of their items. Again, get their attention, & in a way that says “yes, I want something from you (a HP) BUT I also want to support you/your business AND help you in your current task” (finding 100 HPs). I probably get 2-3 HPs /week. I hope this helps—let me know! And Happy Poshing!
