ladyluminous Hello! Thank you for the purchase of the Pirate Queen. This is an amazing corset piece! Just to be sure it fits you the way you are hoping and so you are 100% excited with it I want to give more detail on measurements and measuring I meant to go back and added to the listing. When measuring your waist (the tiniest part not hips!) you want to be accurate for a true corset such as this piece

ladyluminous So pull the tape measure Super tight when measuring yourself. The corset is 26in taut yes. For a fabulous fit the wearer’s waist should be 26-30inches (tight measurement). My mannequin is 28in but she has no give like a real body. If you are more than 30 inches it will be Much more open then seen in picture. Its meant to be super snug but not necessarily closed.

berry1889 Good Evening, sorry for not replying earlier I don’t have my phone with me. My waist is 28 inches. I have a couple of Damsel in the Dress corset in size 26 and they fit.
