My wardrobe/purchases are influenced by 3 things. Childhood memories, 1/3 of my life living in a tiny rural Oregonian town, & 2/3rds living here, my birthplace, sunny SoCal. I am TALL. This creates obstacles finding clothes that fit, so I go thru LOTS. My loss, someone else's gain. I have CRATES of stuff stored. I AM NOT FANCY. No lace packaging. My clothes are USED. This is not a "business"/"boutique". This is just me cleaning. No snobs! Keep it real! HUNDREDS of big guy items coming Jan. 1st!

bighandsbigfeet @sayvish4 Hey! My first Poshmark welcome! I was feeling unloved! Just figured it was my creepy breastfeeding cat profile pic, haha! Thank you! I have crates of stuff coming after the holidays, but probably nothing that would interest you. I don't think we're the same size, haha. BUT, "goals", right? Haha! Thanks for being my first greeter!

bighandsbigfeet @sayvish4 I've just been waiting for an excuse to say the word "goals" to someone, hahaha! Learning so much from Poshmark already. Expanding my vocabulary. "Fire", "AF", "sideboob", "goals", cheeky"... Gotta stay hip, haha! I definitely like the real/used/yardsale-esque, modeled stuff best (As opposed to the mass-marketed "boutique" stuff, but don't know if modeling my own stuff would help or hurt my sales, haha.

bighandsbigfeet @sayvish4 Uhhh... It helps if a person looks like YOU... Sucks when you're a 6' 7" dude & have to buy big sizes that are made for people a foot shorter & 100lbs heavier than you. That's why I have so much crap that doesn't fit right that I'm cleaning out... It's a hard life, haha. Was recently at a basketball game at the Laker's Staples Center, & I couldn't even fit in the seats! Had to sit sideways with my legs in the aisle! What kind of horse-pucky is THAT??

bighandsbigfeet Well, I'll take your advice & try wearing a couple items in my pics. Gotta warm up my duck-face though... If that fails, I might have to commission you to model some fat guy shirts for me. I'll cut you in for about 40%, which will turn out to be about $3-$4 per item... Deal? Hahaha!!! I'm just gonna call all my jeans "boyfriend pants", & then they should be flying off the shelves, haha! Learning every day.

michellegwilson @bighandsbigfeet Hi☺ Hey, which small town in Oregon you from??
Nov 16Reply
bighandsbigfeet
bighandsbigfeet @michellegwilson Sutherlin. Our next closest "big" town is Roseburg... It's more than doubled since I grew up there. Was 3,000, scattered in the hills. One exit. One main street. One swinging red light intersection. Deer & elk all over. One neighbor walked a pet raccoon on a leash. Wild turkeys. Beautiful, but poor. Still is. We went back up to get married there & still stop & spend the night every time we're visiting our peeps in Idaho, every year or so.

bighandsbigfeet @michellegwilson I have a BFF in Springfield. We visit him when passing thru. Area between Roseburg/Eugene is my favorite in Oregon, aside from coast. It's just so hard to make $ there. My family moved from SoCal to that area when I was a toddler. The anti-Californian sentiment was HIGH back in late '70s. Grandparents moved w/ friends to eventually retire & bought cute little house w/ cherry tree. The lumber mill was only place in town to work, tho, & nobody would hire us.

bighandsbigfeet @michellegwilson They had to eventually sell & move empty pocketed back here to SoCal. My single mother & I stayed, with her working under the table at a tree farm there in Douglas County, living in an old lumberjack camp converted to single room cottages. The depression of poor small town living hit her hard. I loved parts of it though. The trees, rivers, covered bridges & lakes... We eventually followed suit & moved back here to SoCal/Orange County in time for high school.

bighandsbigfeet @michellegwilson I always wanted to move back, but the economy has unfortunately stayed the same, hence, our interest in Idaho. Saw a small article about Lewiston about 15-20 years ago, & kept it with plans of a roadtrip there. Then two separate friends from high school both randomly ended up in Boise, so we started exploring THAT area. It was clean, cheap, & had more jobs than Oregon.

bighandsbigfeet
bighandsbigfeet @michellegwilson In-laws had to retire here, & not being able to afford their $3,500 a month for a duplex here in OC, asked us what area we would recommend. Told them we liked Boise & were hoping to eventually relocate there, & they jumped on it , but at the last second changed to McCall, which as you probably know, is a tiny tourist resort town two hours up a mountain. No work there, & too far for daily visits, so here we sit still, haha. One day... That's my story, haha!

bighandsbigfeet @michellegwilson Hello. Nice talking w/ you, & happy Thanksgiving to you guys as well. I'm mostly on here scouting for stuff for my 10yr old daughter & myself. Then I send links to wife & let her do the dirty work, haha. We both have own pages & are new, but I've been racking up the purchases & she's about 1/5th of way thru posting her wardrobe on her page. I'll be posting my stuff after new year. Been in the same place for decades now, & live in a huge metropolis, so we're drowning in stuff.

bighandsbigfeet We've had about 7-8 family members pass away, run into health issues, and/or move in the last couple years, & everybody bequeathes the family stuff on us. On top of our own stuff after living here in the same place for decades, we're literally up to our chins. Trying to do mass cleaning.

bighandsbigfeet
bighandsbigfeet Living in a big perma-sunny metropolis, we usually have lots of yard sales, but every year less & less people in our area speak English, due to us being an hour north of the border AND living in what has become "Little Saigon". Everybody wants to nickel & dime us, & we're already the cheapest around. It's fine, & we only buy cheap as well, being poor & living check-to-check, but our pricier/neater stuff gets no respect. Our hip neighbor told us to try Poshmark, so here we are.
