marigoldmarket I'm so sorry to hear about the zipper on the jeans! I honestly have no excuse, I've had them for quite awhile and am usually very thorough about double checking everything before I ship, but I failed to do so in this case. If you would like to open a case, if there's still time to do so, to return them and get a refund I completely understand. The last thing I'd ever want to do is deceive someone just to make money. Again I'm very sorry.

nataliian Abby, thank you for the purchase! I just measured the waist and it seems to be 15,3", not 14.5" like Banana Republic website said. Is it an appropriate measurement for you?
