abbytwin96 @kaydenshea Hey girl! I actually do have a quick question! I made my first order an hour ago and sold one item. I have all the shipping and arrangements taken care of. So how does the payment process work? I’m paying for shipping. I’m just not sure how I would receive the payment. Thanks so much! :)

kaydenshea @abbytwin96 Great question!! So once you’ve printed out the shipping label and packaged/shipped the item, the item will be on its way to your buyer. Once the buyer receives the package they have a certain time slot to “accept” the package, saying that they’ve received it. (I think the time slot is about five days).

kaydenshea @abbytwin96 Once they accept it your earnings will be deposited into your account, where you can then request a check or do a direct bank deposit. If the buyer does not accept within the time slot then your earnings are automatically deposited into your account!!

abbytwin96 @closetmining Hello! I know you commented awhile ago but I’ve having some major issues with this site! I’m very new to how this site works and I’ve received mostly good reviews for my orders, however, I’ve gotten a few that were terrible and I feel a bit unjustified. Has this ever happened to you? And I understand if people were unhappy with their purchases. I would love to remedy their problems.

scoutanddesign @abbytwin96 So Poshmark works a little differently than other platforms and that was hard for me in the beginning. I had a couple unjustified low ratings in the beginning. I had one person damage an item because she ordered the wrong size and knew Posh would not accept a return for sizing. So my best advice is to realize that the bad comments only show to you for your own knowledge and improvement.

scoutanddesign @abbytwin96 But if you are like me, I want everyone to be happy. Unfortunately every once in a while someone just wants to complain. If I ever make an error I want to know about it and do everything I can to let them know it was an hones mistake. But with Posh it is either they side with the buyer and approve the return or don’t. Honestly after taking a step back, I realized that it rarely happens once you get going with daily sales and is just part of selling.

scoutanddesign So I would avoid a back and forth, if they misrepresent your merch in a case, get the photos and the info to back your argument. Then let it go and roll with it. You can reposh it as long as you make sure the item is ok. I hope this helps. It’s a hard thing.
