jespre Hello there awesome posher. This morning my husband drop off your package(s) at the post office. you will receive TWO packages because I didn’t realize that the cast iron top along was so heavy. (It’s a VERY well built nice item!) I didn’t want it to crush the bottom heater/holder during shipping so I packaged it on its own. Besides Poshmark wouldn’t allow over 10lb item.the hood thing was like 16 lb. 😭

jespre I am new to Poshmark so I was not aware of it. It’s my own fault. I thought about contacting you and perhaps canceling the sale and list it on another platform so we can figure out the shipping cost but thought you may be disappointed and may be eager to receive the item for a nice winter fun gathering. Anyways I’ll look up the other tracking number for the second package and update with you shortly. They were both priority shipping I am hoping they will arrive around the same time.

anormal1 @jespre thank you!!! Made a goal couple years back to strive for “secondhand first” and have been looking for a raclette for awhile Super excited to melt some 🧀 with friends 😆 had no idea how heavy this was

jespre @anormal1 My husband and I are downsizing, feel free to check out my posts from time to time. The cast iron model is probably no longer available for Swissmar, I could only find "cast aluminum" plates when I was researching for original price. We loved the cast iron plate, it holds heat so much better and longer, I am glad that you will be able to get some great use out of it.

Shared a raclette NYE meal in 2019 with some friends who are French and had a raclette but all we didn’t grill anything Looking forward to trying new things We just warmed meat on top melted cheese and ate over smashed boiled potatoes and baguette with a green salad it was super fun and tasty Love that it’s cast iron Except for the shipping issue
