Hi! I'm Abby. Thanks for stopping by! Past lives (before children) include a Nordstrom personal shopper, Handbag department manager, Nordstrom runway fashion show stylist, merchandiser for US Levi's Junior Girls. I worked at Nordstrom from 2001-4 at the best time for premium denim and designs from Marc Jacobs, Nanette Lepore, and DVF. I love beautiful fabrics and clothing. I treat clothing with great respect, that is why my "vintage" pieces from the early aughts are in excellent condition.

biasstyle @fairedushop Hi Michele, I have been doing well, but I have received 2 comments from people who want me to contact them on email. One person yesterday wanted me to let them send me a cashier's check, cash it, and then send. I feel like this is was fraud. I am asking them to follow the PoshMark protocol. Am I doing the right thing? It is unnerving when people want me to email them directly instead of just working through the site. Thanks for you help in advance, Abby

I would first remind you to familiarize yourself with the following Posh Policy: Taking Transactions or Conversation Off the Poshmark Platform Taking any part of a transaction, including discussion about details or negotiations, off the Poshmark platform is a violation of our rules. This sort of activity hurts everyone--both you and the Poshmark community--by breaking down the sense of trust and integrity we have on the Poshmark app."

fairedushop @biasstyle I would advise you to NEVER accept any alternate form of payment. I would NEVER give out any personal info. Any user who asks you to do either of these things is violating Poshmark Policies & Guidelines. I would absolutely REPORT that user, and ANY user who asks you do do anything of this sort.

To submit a report: In the app Select the listing Select the Action Menu (...) Select Report this Listing Select the report reason On the web Select the listing Under the listing photos, select Report Select a reason Select Submit The report will automatically be sent to Poshmark’s moderation team for review.

You do not need to feel obligated to respond to any of their requests. Trust me, there are PLENTY of PM buyers who want to shop with you and do so fairly via the proper PM authorized channels. vibes4vintage @biasstyle Hello again... We offer 3 share groups, Vintage only (any fashion item or accessory, must be vintage) Just Jewelry (any jewelry) and Home goods. It's pretty easy and a great way to increase your exposure and gain more followers. You can "sign in" as often or as little as you wish and just share 8-10 items from each closet that signs up for that day... they will in turn share your items to all their followers..
