I am autistic and my life-long special interest is whales. At least half of my purchases have been and will be the result of me scrolling to find my happy place. I am also a full-time substitute teacher, whose assignments are primarily special education-severe behaviors, emotional disturbance, etc. I always make sure I am wearing some sort of Pride item to signal that I am an ally. I also am openly neurodiverse to normalize diversity and increase acceptance. Thus, a whale is almost always present in my dress as well.
