I visited Poland when I was in high school, and I made a special friend. We wrote to each other for years. I also love to sew! I am still learning, but that is my hobby. we have a lot in common, don't we?

junejasmine @adeleraya87 When I send the jeans, I will include a note w/ my email address. I understand why u don’t have FB. Ironically my friend and my cousin’s wife just became teachers last year through NYC Fellowship Program where mature ppl can pursue 2nd careers. So glad they got in b4 this pandemic and fortunately for the Board of Ed they are tech savvy and are actually helping their peers w/ the new way of remote learning. On a side note I would love to hear about your sewing hobby.

I am a novice at sewing, still learning a lot, but I am catching on quick! So far I have made a nursing cover, 2 pairs of lounge pants, a skirt, a baby blanket, and a bunch of alterations to my dresses. I enjoy it so much, the sense of accomplishment, and the feeling of working with my hands. How about you? have you been at it a while?

junejasmine @adeleraya87 I started a few years ago. I made a few simple child dresses. Some w/ drawstring neckline. I gave one to my cousin’s daughter but it was too big. Hopefully she’ll grow into and like it. I think she’d be more inclined if it had a unicorn. Lol. You’re right about the sense of accomplishment. Someone called it soft engineering..and it really is. Like baking/a science.
