smoothheizman @nathaliecarey hey thanks I was on google looking up how to put SOLD on an item Tht was saying someone bought it. Then everytime I clicked on the link it wouldn’t do nothing I thought it was my phone but I got a new iPhone. I started to have a feeling something wasn’t right! Thank you so much for sharing Tht! I thought Poshmark is on point for things like Tht? I didn’t think I had to worry about something like Tht!

nathaliecarey @smoothheizman this is my first time using this app too. So I’m unfamiliar with how it works but the links are super sketchy. Said I sol something but then. The link prompt me to enter my card info to identify I’m a real person. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I thought posh was a legit app too.

smoothheizman @nathaliecarey wow thts crazy about it asking u to enter ur card number. When I clicked the link it didn’t do nothing like it was frozen! But I thought posh was official they got me like WTF is going on. I reported it tho to support and they did reply to me asking me to screenshot the comment of my item being sold so I did, n they responded n said Tht person has already been flagged in their system so idk why posh didn’t delete their account.

kashita71 @smoothheizman OMG this is exact scam happened to me last Fri! I I received a link in email saying I sold an item & had to verify with my card. I google searched to see if this was procedure before I put in my info (the dumbass that I am). Probably posted by the scammers themselves, it said PM would send an email to me so they could send me a shipping label when item is sold & I needed to verify. Don't!!!!

kashita71 @smoothheizman ur welcome! I found it helpful to watch some YouTube vids...search Poshmark Scams. Alot of helpful info from other Poshers' teaching us what to watch out for & in simpler words how Posh's site works w/sharing/bundling/parties, etc. Hope it helps. Good luck selling & be safe. Just keep in mind if you get email check the From: ensure it states poshmark.com exactly. Also ALL transactions/comms are in this website & read About profiles to see their sales/lovenotes, etc.
